"No." Neji said as he sat up, "Tenten, isn't it time you went to your other job?"
"Y'know if you do want to hug Lee..." she started, causing the Hyuuga to glare at her, "Fine, I'm going," she said throwing her hands up in mock defeat.
"Uncle's dying," Neji said quietly after the weapon's master left, "Hanabi's taken over the clan... and apparently I'm in the Bingo Book for something other than deserting Konoha now."

"What?" he said, his eyes shimmered with moisture, he never particularlly liked the Hyuuga but he knew that Neji's uncle wasn't as bad as most of them "What has she done?" he said, a clear note of true concern rang in his voice.

In answer, Neji passed Lee the note.
Hyuuga Neji. Wanted for the murder of his clan's heiress, stealing clan secrets, and the attempted murder through poisoning of his clan's head.
A bounty of 20,000 ryo for his capture (alive)

He wasn't a spitful person but this built up in his chest like a fire that burned his lungs, screaming at them to Curse her name "That little witch probably did it herself" he whispered to himself so low not even Neji would be able to hear him... he thought... "T-Thats total... Well its a load of... Ughh..." he said.

"I wasn't this angry when I thought Uncle was responsible for Father's death," Neji chewed his lip, "Then it was a matter of duty, no matter how wrong it seemed... and even when I did find out why..." he closed his eyes, "But this. He's dying and just so a little brat can gain power."
He stood, "What's worse is there's nothing I can do to stop it. We can't return to Konoha... Danzo made that clear when he posted the notices declaring what a 'worthy shinobi of Konoha' was."

Neji looked at Lee for a moment, before sadly smiling, "They might. And both should be at the academy... let's go see if Guy-sensei is finished with his last classes."

Neji bit back what would be his normal protest as Lee grabbed his arm, instead nodding and falling the taijutsu master.
