hannah_is_here Based on the four most recent mini-comics, the 'teams' we can expect to choose from are Sam, Diedrich, Louie and Carl it seems. If that is the case, which one can be considered the 'Barton' one? I know that Louie (Durem) and Sam (Aekea) aren't it, so that leaves Diedrich and Carl (a rabbit-or is it grunny- and a elk). Or is this like the summer camp one where each team doesn't have the least bit to do with any town? Looks like you got part of your guess right. Items have been released for Louie's Crew, Diedrich's Crew, Edmund's Crew, Sam's Crew, and Carl's Crew. (I like how Ed's and Sam's jackets/coats look) Who to join though? I'm thinking that Ed would be the most Barton orientated (he saved & greatly helped sexy [did I type that out loud?] Ian). What do you guys think?

Someone over here made a good point about the teams. They said that there has never been 5 teams to choose from for anything, and since Ed was calling for the help, Ed might not be a team/crew/whatever to choose from. If that's the case, then I have even less of an idea who to choose from. The mini comics weren't really any good to tell us about our options. Why couldn't they do something like the Reject Olympics and have a comic issue for each team?

A few new items seemed to have been leaked:
Frontier Skies Water Medal - A memorial token of your success on completing the Frontier Skies Event with Edmund as your guide.
Frontier Skies Fire Medal - A memorial token of your success on completing the 2010 Summer Event with Sam as your Navigator.
Frontier Skies Shadow Medal - A memorial token of your success on completing the Frontier Skies Event with Louie as your guide.
Frontier Skies Wind Medal - A memorial token of your success on completing the Frontier Skies Event with Diedrich as your guide.
So Ed can be your guide. But the Shadow medal is awesome.

After logging on for what has to be the first time in two days due to work taking away the last days of my summer from me, I looked it over and decided to go with Edmund. For one, I'm a frequent customer. Two, I'd be too tempted to shoot Carl for extra rations. Or for fun.
But yeah, looks like no essential town rivalries this time around again. Meaning no chance for recruitment to bolster our unfortunately small numbers. I'm beginning to think that the militias that sprung up during the few team based events there were made the admins reconsider pitting people against each other. Wimps.

Buy ammo at the start. Not food. Hunt as much as possible to fill your food stores early on. A good time to go hunting is when your food is 250 units below maximum. Rest when two or three are at Fair (one day may do it), and when one crew member is at Poor (three days recommended). And see this thread.EDIT: Special Carl Guide! All bullets. No food. Let 2-3 of your redshirts die as soon as possible. Speed matters, as Carl will eat your bullets. Choose the Kestral, and go through the desert and volcano. Carl isn't especially lucky. Always play chance cards safe. Whenever a card pops up that gives you the option to bother Carl or leave him alone... leave him alone. Do not shoot the elk. Carl will kill you.

...really? Ok then, I won't shoot elk...even though they make a lot of food. Anyways, I'll do this every morning until I finish this quest thing...it is like Oregon Trail.

I gave up after two tries. The items aren't really worth the time you have to put in for them.
Speaking of items, when the hell will we be able to trade in the stickers for something?

Not sure, but the wing sticker icon is gone (for me anyway), so maybe something will happen (that or the event is just ending).
