It had to be fierce, something that reflected her personality. An Eagle Owl, definitely. They were rare to come by in the owl emporiums and always sold at a high price. She walked about the different owls, but always noticed a rust brown female owl watching her. She walked to the cage and unlatched the hook on the lock. "Hi there," she said to the owl, taking her out.
The owl continued staring at her with it's large yellow colored eyes. She hooted a couple times and nestled herself in Rayne's arms, then perched on her shoulder.
Rayne laguhed quietly to herself. "Yes, I want you too. How 'bout I go pay for you now? Yeah, I'll do that, then I guess I'll just sit here with you for a little bit. And I have to find you a name." Without bothering to put the owl back in its cage, she walked to the man at the cash register and payed 20 galleons for her new pet. She then sat down at a small table for two and placed her owl down on the table, stroking the soft feathers while thinking of an appropriate name.
