*hugs everybody back* heart
Yeah 6 and I'd told H that I was betting he'd gone to all those extremes because he was afraid I wouldn't like him anymore. sweatdrop I certainly don't like him much now but this is like a bandaid pulled off slow. If he'd just told me at the time I'd have checked whatever reaction I had. AND I'd have been able to fix the wolf and that would've soothed.
But as a 6 yr old I also don't expect him to think that. Especially in light of the way he's been treated. (The sister is the baby, the important one, the firstborn, the girl, the LIGHT in the FREAKING SKY. He lives in a house where every wall has a bunch of pictures of the sister and there's only one picture in the whole house that I saw of him. He's fairly intuitive when he's not under pressure. That has to hurt.)
At the very least I know beyond doubt this was not an act of malice.
Now, his dad not calling us back about it...that might've been an act of malice. scream Or at the very least an act of ignore it and it will go away.

*Pats* I think at certain ages it is tough being the oldest, middle, or youngest child. As the youngest, it always feels like a competition to do better than my brother and while it was worse when I was younger, I still feel it.

And update...once again H failed to inform me that he'd had a conversation w/someone. Apparently the boy told his dad he didn't do it. Meanwhile I broke down in front of his nana and she said she'd "talk to him." I couldn't articulate what I needed to say. Too much emotion, too little sleep.
All I really want is the freaking pieces back. I've had this thing since '95. The cast date on it is '94 for heaven's sake! It was a first edition I believe.
Ahwell, I guess I'm just going to have to suck it up. Time to go back on mold patrol. stare
Thanks for the ears and the hugs, ladies.

Yeah, the xp face just about sums things up. Or the scream 'cause things have just gotten worse.
I swear every so often I have to stop and analyze everything and weigh my reactions because this string of bad luck/karma I'm having is just un-farking-real.
The bright side: My mattress came and I may get to sleep on it as early as tomorrow night.
*smoochies the ladies* heart
Is it wrong that I spotted in a Verizon bottle: Q. What is your favorite anime series? A. (Naruto) and Boondocks. (Honestly I don't remember the first option only that it was a currently-airing anime.)
...and my bloodlust just went CRAZY. Is that wrong? sweatdrop
Edit: Also on the bright side I got a pink gift box posting this. yeay.

I was right. I am going to have to suck it up. Nana called back. "We talked to him extensively and he still maintains he didn't break it. I don't know what to say."
Meanwhile in the background Pappy said something nasty-sounding while I was answering her questions about how I found it and what makes me sure Sean did it and I didn't 100% catch it but it sounded like OH BULL$H!T.
Either way what the conversation boiled down to is: We believe Sean.
Because they didn't even search for the pieces. And goddamnit I tore up my house just making sure. First I looked all the places I would've put it. THEN I started looking all the places where little fingers could stash it.
And they didn't even have the courtesy to look just on Sean's word. And this wasn't even the first thing the grandkids broke. Just the only one important enough for me to make a stink about it.
I'm very upset.

Yay for the mattress and pink gift box!
And I'm sorry they won't even look Felly. I hope he'll bring them back at least.

Yay indeed. *nod*
I've lost all hope at this point but that's me. After a certain amount of b.s. my chin just won't stay up.

*purrz* It's more comfy than the other one at least. I'm still on the fence. It's firmer than I'm used to which is a good thing but that means all night my body is attempting to change its usual (bad) alignment and the muscles get upset.
The great part is though it takes me a little longer to fall asleep I only wake up a couple of times rather than every 20 minutes after the first 3 hours. I'm still waking up sore but it doesn't last all day.
WOo!Freakin'!Hoo! *happydance* I still probably should've gone for the 8" mattress but that would've put us in a hole since just a few days after I dropped all the money on it I found mold in the studio and had to buy a dehumidifier. sweatdrop
But it will be here today and I can start salvaging some things from downstairs.
I have a terrible mold allergy. Heinous. xp

B'awww! gonk *rubrub* Did you turn your mattress?
Edit: *blinks @ tank* Do either of you see 2 yellow starfish in my tank? *backs away slowly*
I mean I bought them off the mp but I didn't put them in my tank!
Edit2: Ohhh...it's a farking bug going around that apparently staff is trying to pass off as the user's fault. (You put them there. or Quit buying fish if that keeps happening.) Edit3: At least that's the word on the forums, to be fair. And all us Gaians get flaky, to be sure.
GREAT! stressed
