I'm the kind of guy who would point out that an Orthadontist (or however it's spelled) works on braces, not a Dentist.

I'm the kind of girl who'd counterpoint that 'dentist' is a general term to refer to people who treat diseases of the oral cavity & since Orthodontics (specialization) is under Dentistry, then orthodontists are rightfully called dentists too (just like how most people would refer to cardiologists, neurologists, surgeons, etc. as simply doctors).
