Thought up by Lilmex as a recruiting tool, the DBRP thread will be used to attract competent RPers to the guild, acting as a screening tool.
At the same time, for those who already enjoy membership, the new thread offers the chance to create a character and start over. Things will be alot less
focused, if you will. The thread will offer the chance for me to test new ideas, and it should prove to be useful as a more layed-back alternative to the guild where everyone can chuck mountians around and super-powerful androids can whoop your a** at every turn.
Let me say that, concept-wise, the thread offers little, if anything, new. In fact, it's closer to the very first first post then the current one. Join if you want. Don't join if you're in too many RP's already. Just giving all here a heads up about it. The thread will not effect your character in the guild.
As a parting note, some of you may wonder why Piasta911, Littlemexican87, and Sening are the ones who will be running the thread alongside me. The answer has nothing to do with favoritism. They were simply the three who helped iron the concept out, and therefore have an equal stake in the thread. Also note that that doesn't make them the automatic mods of the future planet/plane threads, and that I'll look here for mods before choosing someone from the thread RP. Consider being a thread mod to be an audition of sorts for possibly becoming a guild mod if you'd like.
As for the guild, I'm still fighting laziness to move the story along. It will get done, though....eventually.
