I've had a little bit too much
All of the people start to rush.
Start to rush babe.
How does he twist the dance?
Can't find my drink or man. Belle glanced in between the two. What was he on about? She could feel the hair on the back of her neck standing on end. All she wanted to do was pull Daniel inside and lock the door. "Danny..." She whispered as he moved to further shield her. Wish I could shut my playboy mouth.

If knowledge is considered power in its purest form...
Marius watched as the boy reacted to his name. "So, even the younger ones have heard of me. How nice..." He flashed a toothy grin at the two. "Are you scared of me, boy...?" He stepped closer, his eyes now a mesh of silver and crimson swirling around. "Why so frightened?" Marius wanted to know if the boy really knew what was in front of him. It was always entertaining to hear stories of himself. It always made him laugh.
His eyes met with the girl's as she hid behind the vampire. "And why are you afraid, Miss? Is it your instincts? I don't think you would know of me, for I am something for vampires to fear, not beautiful shape-shifters, such as yourself." This was only another tactic to entwine the young vampires emotions and get him angry. Marius was very good at this, for he had been practicing for centuries. ...Then I will learn all I need to destroy this despicable world.

Can't find my drink or man. Belle growled again. "Instinct has served me well thus far, vampire." She said as she pulled Daniel back toward her, moving with him. She watched this one. Killing your own kind was definitely a sign of psychosis. She could understand if it was someone of another species, there was always some reason one hated the other. But your own kind? Even if her litter mates had annoyed the hell out of her, she hadn't killed them. Wish I could shut my playboy mouth.

If knowledge is considered power in its purest form...
"Good, you do know of my work. Well, you don't know all of it, though...There are things the elders just don't speak of." Seeing the boy flash his fangs at him, Marius narrowed his eyes. "Do you wish to fight me, young one? Are you that eager to lose your 'precious' life...?" His voice was calm and smooth, as if he had asked that question countless times.
It was then that Marius heard the woman speak of 'instinct'. He couldn't help but smile as she pondered his motives. "Instinct...yes. That is why I do what I do; instinct. Killing my own kind is a means to something more for me. But what both don't understand is, I have a purpose for doing such things. Call me crazy, but you'll understand soon enough..." He turned his back to the two, jumping up onto the balcony railing. ...Then I will learn all I need to destroy this despicable world.

She wasn't going to leave his back unprotected. This other vampire reeked of trouble and she was afraid he might be the kind to try and attack from behind if he got the chance. Marius stood still on the balcony railing as the cool breeze swept through. "You wish to protect this boy, yet you barely know him. How fun it is to be so young and naive..." It did perplex him how she felt the need to protect this vampire. He must have been unknowingly showing killing intent. He was so used to it, that it was almost always there.
"Purpose..." Marius resounded once more, hearing the young vampire's question. "That purpose is knowledge, strength, life..." His tone of voice had changed so suddenly. It was now cold and sharp. His head turned towards the two as he spoke. "Knowledge of the world, and power of life. The elders have what I want, and yet they hide themselves away in fear. How selfish of them to let their own kind suffer for their own safety." ...Then I will learn all I need to destroy this despicable world.

Can't find my drink or man. Belle forced down a growl. The only reason she had to protect Daniel was because she liked him. He was a rather interesting vampire. She was NOT naive however. Naive was thinking she would be able to protect him if it came down to it. She didn't think she would be able to at all. Being a feline at heart she could sense things like harmful intent. It frustrated her to no end to not know if this vampire's intent was directed at them or not. Wish I could shut my playboy mouth.

Marius' eyes turned back to the uncovered moon shining down on the balcony. "You don't understand. I couldn't ask you to, anyways. You are far to young to understand what our race truly is. But, if you watch close enough, you'll see the true." He let out a slight chuckle; the boy's ignorance amused him, if only a little. He then turned around to face the two as he slid back to edge on his heels.
"My intent was never to hurt either of you. I don't need to waist my time killing you, when I have more important people to kill..." Marius winked at the girl, then let himself fall off the balcony into the darkness. "Remember what I told you...Deliver the message..." His words echoed throughout the night sky, slowly fading with the wind. ...Then I will learn all I need to destroy this despicable world.
