"It was very interesting. I was around aniamls all the time, they were my family," Nikki said. "They hunted for me, protected me, and trained me. I knew the names of dozens of them."
"Like my Momma?" Larka whispered in Nikki's mind.
"Yes, Larka, like your mother Keeta," she told the small pup. She then glanced back at Priscilla. "She's four months."
