"I'll fight the officers that come to take me away then." Rose said, taking out a cloth she had and cleaning her swords, "I've fought off my fair share of pirates and officers, even on the night I...." She trailed off, memories flashing before her eyes. She shook her head, 'Nevermind, it's not important...shall we return to the ship captian?" She asked, putting her swords away and standing.

"Yes, but after a while the Captain of the gaurd would come. And by that time he would just kill you without the hanging."
He said as he walked outside, shifting the single pauldron (shoulder armor) that he wore on his left shoulder.

"I'd drain him before he could lay a finger on me, I'll tell you that much..." Rose mumbled to herself, following Atan, her hands folded in her kimono sleeves. She sighed, her wolf ears twitching as she listened to the villagers look at her. Some men checked her out and she growled, her hair fluffing out to tell them to back off. They backed away from her, hugging each other. The girl rolled her eyes and moved past her captain, walking on to the ship and disappeaing below deck once more.

Atan stood on the dock looking out to the see, as the sun continued to fall below the horizon. A patrol of souldiers walked down the dock, the superior officer knocked Atan down. Atan went to get up then was kicked back down to the dock.
"Aw, where's the captain, is he not here to hold you hand."
Atan got up and back away a few paces.
"Just leave me alone."
The men turned, still teasing Atan.
"Hey, Rose you might wanna see this."

"Is there a problem here gentlemen?" Rose growled angrily, standing at the top of the gangplank, her arms crossed over her chest and her eyes flashing red in anger. she had gotten herself in to many a bad situation and if this was about her, she wasn't about to make Atan get picked on. She was his first mate and, she thought, friend, so she wasn't about to let these ment shove him around.

The soldiers continued walking away. Atan jumped up, next to the gangplank.
"Settle down."
He pulled out a spy glass and handed it to Rose.
"Look at the superior soldier, at his waist."
A steel stick stuck to the soldiers armor near his waiste.
"It has an internal fuse, and is relativly weightless, it also has gunpowder packed into it."
A smile creeped on his face. Then the stick blew up killing all 10 of the soldiers, and leaving no evidence of the bomb.

Rose watched it blow up and laughed, her fangs flashing in the fading sunlight, "Oh, that was good." She said, smiling, "You tried a sneak attack on me the first day we met too." She drifted in to memories, shaking her head to clear it, suddenly feeling hungry at the scent of the human blood. She hadn't fed in several days nd needed to go soon. She clsoed her eyes, willing her fangs to retract and her eyes to return to normal.

Atan's mask slowly began to form as the sunlight vanished.
"Damn."
He yelled as he stormed off the ship,
"I'll see you in the morning, don't follow m-"
Atan's mask reched completion and his arm turned pitch black. Atan turned and stormed away. Leaving a odd trail behind, that would faded after a few minutes.

Rose watched Atan, nodding her head. Getting back on the ship, she leapt on to the mast, looking up at the sky. (A full moon tonight... ) She thought, pulsing slightly. She closed her eyes as she changed, her wolf ears disappearing along with her tail. When she opened her eyes again, they were a golden brown, her fangs poking out from underneath her lip. She looks at her claws, examing her skin, "Every month..."

"Damn, why must this happen every night, why do I always see humans as targets?"
He said as he ran in random pattern through the city.
"If I run fast enough I can keep from my instinks taking over. And how can I find someone who can defeat this form, is only I can find someone to defeat my instinks. Then I can keep the power, and lose the impulses."
He thought to himself. Atan slowed a little to much and his impulses took over. He sliced his arm into a man's chest and threw him into the air. Atan vanished and reappeared infront of the man. He bit into the man's neck then drew back, energy started flowing from the wounds and Atan breathed it in.
"*sigh* I'm good for a couple hours. But I still must get away."
Atan's left arm caught on fire and he bolted towards the woods on the outskirts of town.

"Damn!" Rose growled, bolting up. The smell of blood invaded her nose and she inhaled. Her eyes bled red and her iries glowed brightly in the night, her fangs growing longer until the tips hit her chin. She growled again, ehr vampire instincts slowly taking over, "I-I need to hunt!" She laept off the ship in one fluid movement, making sure the ship was sacure before bolting to some woods nearby. She leapt through the trees, looking for an animal, any animal, "Damn, the one night I really need something to feed on and I can't find ANYTHING!"

The fire covering Atan's left arm went out, and he began wandering through the woods. Stumbling about he wandered around the woods.

Rose stopped, breahting heavily. Her vampifre instincts clawed at her insides and a deep thraoted snarl escaped her, her eyes becoming dead and unfeeling. The girl leapt off again, quickly finding a bear. She smirked, attacking it. She killed the creature quickly, tearing it's thraot out. She drained the creature, some sense returning to her. Rose pushed the corpse off her and leaned back against a tree, her eyes closed as she regained some of her sense.

Atan said, his burning red eyes turned green as he spoke to Rose psycically.
"How confident are you in being able to kill a demon?"

"Eep!" Rose said, falling over sideways. She got right to her feet, her hait standing on end like a frieghtned cat. She had gotten back to her semi-normal self and she was able to act liek she usually would, "U-um, I-I d-don't know. I ha-haven't kill a demon in 4 years."
