we have thought of it, but to do a mission such as that, it would be a high risk, border suicide mission. once they realize who we are, they will have a large battle group there. We maybe able to take on hundreds of troops there, but not thousands. plus, even were we to survive the troops and get off planet, you still have the fleet to deal with, and that's more firepower focused on one or two ships then the ship can take. Even the Sith wouldn't do this without a fleet to back them up, and we don't have a fleet.

I dont think kamino is as hard as a run as we might assume
the millenium falcon escaped the deathstar after infiltrating it
and that seems far harder in retrospect

To Boltohn... Yes but that was a ship...not a planet. Besides the deathstar's biggest fault was that it was really only designed with the idea of large battle class ships as its main attackers. a small group of fighters could easily shake its better weapons because they were sluggish and unresponsive when dealing with smaller ships. A planet on the other hand has orbital defenses, fighters cruisers, corsairs and the like. besides, Kamino is where all the clones are, and their weapons. Dont get me wrong...i could hold my own against a multitude of clones, but against an entire planets worth of well trained troopers...No jedi or sith could hope to survive that. The republic would throw everything they had at us.
To Janlu: I dont think that Kurosaki saved it....but a dam good idea i must say.

we could go to the other extreme. the trade federation has millions of throwaway trooper droids in production. why not ascribe to the philosophy of quality over quantity and build ourselves a small army of droids on par with or even better than the republic's clone troopers? we develop our own combat program using mandalorian shock tactics and clone battlefield strategy. we could wipe the floor with such a force.
although i find this idea of mine somewhat sickening and unneeded.

Hehe. -chucks lightly- I'm finding it hard to believe we are actually talking about making an army for ourselves. The outcasts never had an army. If anything, we try to find the lost or those that have left either order to join us and teach and house outcasts. We do missions according to what is needed or is something troubles any of you fellow outcasts. War is not our choice really, but to survive. We may end up interfering with battlefields, and that's fine by me, i mean, if your homeworld's at war and you want to save your home/family/city/friends/contact/etc. that's fine. We will go and help. But to make an army? Plus our combat drones that we have we use for training, and we do have some advanced combat programs, that can even pose a challenge to us masters. Plus we do have somewhat of an army of droids, but we use them for training, not for an army.

Plus technically I am part of the republic still but my new General is to General Malic and General Kurosaki and also my troops are with me as well all 20 of them. Each of the 20 are specially trained in their own way not by the obsolete Clone way, but we did go through it. Also If we went on a mission like that I would stik with the outcast but we will all be branded as traitors no side to turn to. Its like saying it us aganist the whole universe, even I won't be able to handle that. General Kurosaki army? Your got your army right here." *Points at himself* me and my men are here for our order .

-Laughs a bit- I guess we have a Commando unit, but we are not really out to fight a war with the sith or the Jedi, we just do what we feel is right and will fight for our own ideals. If it coincide with the Republic or Separatist, That is to be determined by whoever leads the mission.

well, anyway we're more on the sidelines...no one knows about us, right? so we won't be fighting in any wars (that is to say we wouldn't face any important story-defining battles) because that would interfere with the story we're following, right? unless you want to take the story begining from the end of the last episode, in which we could help and ultimately bring back the jedi population once balance is restored and all that.
but you already said we're around the time of the clone wars, so...dunno how you're going to do much of that without really digging deep into the story that's out there

thanks for clearing that up and it was just a silly idea anyway.
would there be a place for a mandalorian close to medium range combat specialist in said Commando unit? i stand ready to defend what I have come to believe in. (Lol)

Actually Kurosaki and I have had some Ideas about areas of the cannon we would eventually like to dive into. But admittedly, those sorts of things will probably never come to pass in the guild. If we did do them it would most likely lead to the destruction of every member of our order. We are eventually planning on making fan films for the Outcasts...thats probably when we'll implement the ideas. As for engaging in cannon events, we can...it's just our interference ultimately cannot change the end result. A battle that was lost for the republic will remain a losing one and so forth. Now events leading up to that can be fleshed out, given story and meaning. Made emotional...tis a path that is, as yet, unexplored. The films only followed a small cast of characters. We can show ourselves and others, that there was more to the films then they realized. In any one of the scenes from Star Wars an Outcast could have been waiting in the shadows, just off screen. Remember that.

well, unless the order would be too close to the biggest action, i don't see why everyone would be killed...ultimately, the reason the jedi were knocked out was because they trusted in the clone army which was secretly with orders against them specifically...
so i don't see why the outcasts couldn't get away in time an wait it out like obi-wan and yoda did wink
