I intend to work out this summer as well. Not to lose weight to gain it, in muscles. I weigh about 126 lbs. I am a stick of a person if there ever was one. I feel weak. So I am going to work out.

I like this Idea.
Regarding the very first rant in this thread, Wielder, I know your pain. I took American History last year, and it really is a very homework heavy class. I remember that I did my final project on the Vietnam War. Just soldier on (Pun absolutely intended), and you'll survive.
As far as the in-shape thing goes, here I also understand your pain and frustration. As of third period today (Personal fitness) I weigh 217.6 lbs. I would really like to loose that by next year, so I think that I'll follow in Wielder's footsteps this summer.

Wielder, I run miles daily. I have a running parachute and a 20lb. weighted vest that I use for running. I work out at the gym every other day. I ride my bike at the skate park.
I don't lose weight. I don't have a flat stomach; y'know why?
Burger King.
Hurrah for franchised obesity.

I'm with Strifer at the opposite end of the Physical Spectrum. I'm six-foot one-inch, and I'm 130 pounds, give or take about five depending on how much I eat that day. I'm no abs, and no flab. I have friends who can bench-press me. That changes. By the time I get back to school next summer, I want to gain around 20 Pounds of Muscle. I want to be actually able to run, jump, lift things.
I want to stop looking like an anorexic twig.

I dont ever hit the gym, but I do work out daily at home. Im no skinny twig man. Im kinda of chubby.
Ya know what though? I can bench my own weight, dead lift even more. I can leg press half a ton. I kickbox for sport, and do parkour (to an extent xD) with friends. Soooo im saying that since im 6'0" on the dot and just a little over 200lbs there is no excuse for anyone to be inactive and out of shape if a chubby dude like me can do this.
Plus I climbed the East Ridge ( a section of the Rocky Mountains here in Montana) twice with a group of friends. <-- -likes the brag about that one-
But I want my abs back! xD So its cool to see that everyone in here is getting into shape as well. Kind of inspiring in a way.

Kain's signature also reminded me that that I HAVE to beat A Link to the Past THIS SUMMER.
Damn game slipped away from my grasp when the nintendo 64 came out, and I never lived it down. xD

Hurrah for franchised obesity. That's how I felt, during my high school years. It wasn't till recently that i found out why: my mom cooks nearly EVERYTHING in butter. Canned corn? she has me drain the water out, and "boil" it with butter in the microwave. What does she want with anything having to do with spaghetti? two slices of bread, with butter on them. You name it, I'm sure she's found some way to incorporate butter or salt into it, unless it was fruit-related, or happened to be a dessert, or happened to be fast food.

Reminds me little of me, because of my body type I basically look the same no matter what I do, only difference is how strong I am. Essentially, even though I can lift a small motorcycle over my head, I don't look like that. Also a major problem I run into is that while I gain muscles really easy, for instance I can generally add twenty pounds to the weights I'm using each week, I also lose the muscle just as easily should I ever skip working out, tis really annoying.

My friend flipped over a truck when he was on PCP. It was the greatest thing I had ever witnessed.
He's a total dope-head, and his mind is kinda ******** up now, but dude... Seeing someone flip over a mid-sized pickup is awesome.

My sister. She's great! We usually get along well, and we both love each other! We hardly ever Argue.
But.
That's only because she's usually NOT HERE. 3/4ths of the year, she's three hours away at College on a full ride scholarship, studying hard to become a lawyer, and someday Governor. She returned for a week or two, then left to go to europe for a month for FREE. She went ALL over the place, Switzerland, France, Rome, Greece, Macedonia... All over the place.
She got back a week ago. She immediately got a job (pisses me off cuz I've been trying for months.) and is gone most of the day.
Today, she had a half day at work. Still paid and all that jazz, she just got lucky as f***.
She came home. At present, her BF is at the same college she goes to, as they have an apartment there. He's the only other person she ever goes and sees, and that's when he's here, not there.
When she got home, things were fine. I was playing borderlands, dealing with two annoying team mates, one of whom was level one, compared to my level 50. I quit to check Gaia. She took over the TV.
Here's where it begins. She has her laptop out, working on a project for college. She's got the Living Room TV, ps3-equipped, on a random show, hardly listening. I ask if she could take the TV in Mom's room, and give me this one, so I can resume my merciless slaughter. Sheeeeeee... says no.
My time is short, I've discovered, so I'll sum this up. A number of smaller incidents like this occured. I've been trying to acquire the TV for five hours now. Mom came home and sided with her.
I love my sister, but things just don't tend to go right when we're around each other.
Gah.
