Suijin stood behind the remaining soldier, with her staff pressing up across his throat. She didn't have a sharp weapon or a gun to easily kill an enemy, so the best she could do was cut off the air supply with her staff. For a second, she had forgotten that they needed to take a hostage back with them but thought that this soldier shouldn't be the one. Suijin loosened her grip as the soldier fell to the ground, dead. She glanced at her teammates. Her red eyes seemed to glow from the magma around them, and the look in her eyes was like something had changed within her. She seemed different than her usual self. Without another word, Suijin stepped over the lifeless bodies and continued the walk through the cavern.


The squad followed along the path and before long, came across another pair of soldiers. This meant that they are going the right direction or are being tricked. Either way, they had to get rid of them. "After these two, there are two more, so we can take one of those as a prisoner. As for these two, let's take them out." Suijin said to her teammates.

As she was talking, one of the soldiers decided to attack. He ran straight for Yuna. Suijin saw this and jumped in front of the girl, taking the attack. She then blocked his second attack with her staff. "Hurry - shoot him!" she shouted.

Yuna was distracted for a second by the laugh. She quickly came back and swerved around Suijin and moved behind the solider that attacked Suijin. She moved one of her legs behind the soldier’s and knocked him to the ground, shooting him in the forehead instantly killing him. Yuna left the other solider for Hunter. She looked at Suijin. " Hey you ok? " She took her staff out.

"I think so..." Suijin said, feeling a pang in her side where the soldier's weapon hit her, but she didn't have time to check before she heard the evil laugh. She looked ahead on the path, seeing more figures in the distance. "Okay, remember our plan?" Suijin asked Hunter and Yuna. "We're counting on you to heal us." she added, directed to Yuna. Suijin braced herself, "Alright, let's go." With that, she ran down the path leading her team to the next enemy.

"I understand" Hunter Shealth his Kayana and put his Gunblade on the other side of his Belt and followed Suijin and Yuna as they continued into the Caverns "Something tells me we may be closer to our target then we may think, but something doesn't make since to me" Hunter got into his train of thought almost seeming that the encounter with the solider was suppose to happen, maybe it was a sign as to what the Assassin wanted or maybe it was something else

Through the thick smoke of the Fire Cavern, the figure of the assassin could just be seen. She appeared to be a young woman, no older than sixteen, with silvery hair and dark eyes. She was dressed in heavy red and black silks, and appeared to be more of a priestess than an assassin. She had thorny flowers woven into her hair, and seemed to be holding a giant fan, which was folded up and rested gently in her hands. She had an amused smirk on her face, and she stood quite casually, considering her guards had been mostly wiped out.
