"But..." I glanced down the left hallway. I really wanted to see what was down there, but I didn't want to start a fight, and we could always come back. I turned with Zack down the right hallway, "Ok, let's go."

After walking for several minutes, we came to a dead end. "Is this a maze?" I turned toward Mark, "Guess we take your way next." We quickly turned around and traced our steps back to the junction in the hallway.

I just shrugged my shoulder,"Seems like it." We passed the junction and kept on going. I looked over at Zack and smiled, "At least we'll hopefully know our way around this place better!"

"Yeah... I guess. Still, I think they should have a map or something. If we got lost, then who knows how many other people also got lost. Or... are still lost." As we continued down, I half believed that the hallway would go on forever.

"Oh, who knows. Maybe this goes down to some underground lab where they experiment on people!" I teased Zack with a big grin, but when I looked over, I could see his eyes grow big, and he started to get pale. I stopped us rather suddenly "Zack, I was only joking." I glanced down the hall, feeling a bit nervous myself, and like we were being watched, "Besides, I'm sure if anything saw us like this, they'd run the other way!"

I nodded, growing a wide and devious smile. "Yeah, I guess you right. If I wasn't stuck to you, I probably run away from you too."

I gave Zack a sharp stare, but a smile soon broke out across my face. I playfully tried to push away, and he did the same. We both started to laugh, and continued our walk. "Speaking of being away from me. How was your day apart? What did you do?"

I started to blush as my memories came flooding back. I turned my head away to try and hide it. "Nothing"

I started to laugh, "Uh huh, like I believe that!" We let the subject drop for a moment, before I felt uncomfortable with the silence, "I went to the pool. It was great! We should go some time."

"Yeah!" I quickly agreed, silently relieved that the subject changed. "We'll have to get used to swimming like this, so the pool would be the perfect place to practice."

"Cool! Well, after we're done getting lost, want to head over there?" I asked while looking around. They're weren't many windows, so it was hard to know where we were in relation to outside.
