I used to work out listening to Static-X.
Then I would work out listening to the most aggressive s**t in my library ("to bring out the beast inside").
Nowadays it depends on my mood.

When I'm working out, it either needs to be the METAL or the techno. And I mean the hardcore UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ kind of techno. =P Makes all the difference in the world. Makes it a joy instead of a chore.

I think music makes a difference for me either before training or during. Usually I listen to it before I go train, since I don't have an arm strap for my mp3 player yet. I like listening to a bunch of tunes with beats that make me feel pumped up and that gives me motivation and energy to work out.

... i like rhythm, so anything with a good rhythm, and beat ... I like to dance, and to move around a lot especially when working on my foot work ...
