I may be a cruel and heartless b*****d, but I'm damn good at it! He smiled as Skara calmed down a little. After she sat down he just looked at her for a few minutes. Looking her over. "May I ask how you became a slave?" he asked still looking at her. "You are the last slave I would have ever thought of bringing home. You seem so delicate and lovely. To lovely for such a good fighter as you are" he said smiling. He was actually excited, something he hadn't felt in a while since the last masters had inhabited this mansion. "I would love to see more examples of that intriguing power of yours. I have never seen an ice wielder before" he said reaching out and grabbing her hand looking at it. He turned it in his hand, looking at her palm half thinking it was some sort of strange contraption that made it work. ((sorry it took so long to update...I was pretty busy))

Skara watched Alaric for about half a minute before looking away, she had pretty much gotten used to people looking her over but she never enjoyed watching them do so. She turned back to face him when he asked a question but didn't have enough time to answer it when he started talking again. She kept her hands placed neatly in her lap as she listened to him speak. Alaric's sudden movement rendered her unable to move out of his reach. Her instincts made her want to pull her hand away but stopped herself after she pulled only about a centimeter away. Skara let her hand go limp as Alaric looked at it. "If you want... I could show you." She said looking away. Skara knew that if she didn't offer that he'd probably ask and she'd end up doing it anyway, so why not just do it willingly?

I may be a cruel and heartless b*****d, but I'm damn good at it! After a moment of looking at her hand he released it. "I would love to see. Please meet me in the courtyard out back. It should not be very hard to find." He said getting up and out of the bed, not caring that she was still in the room. "Do not leave the courtyard once you are there" he comanded as he began to clothe himself. "I need to address the misbehaviour of the other slave before I join you" he said with a long sigh. "Is that understood?"

Skara pulled back her hand automatically when it was released. She nodded and stood up, though noticing Alaric's movements she quickly looked away. She nodded again, knowing that she had a tendency to look at the person she was talking to. Skara's head bolted up to look at him in surprise. 'What had Tallis done? How did their Master know? If it was for using the stairs he had told them not to then shouldn't she be getting punished too?' The many questions flooded into her mind, distracting her from the question now posed to her which was left unanswered.

I may be a cruel and heartless b*****d, but I'm damn good at it! "Well?" Alaric paused looking at his flustered slave. "I know you heard me, I will see you in the courtyard. If you are not there when I get there, I may need to punish you as well" he said sneering at her as he left the room. He made his way down the long main staircase and wandered around until he located the room which held Tallis. "Hello, are you enjoying yourself" he said standing not but ten feet from him. "You have only been hear a mere few hours and already broke one of my rules" He said crossing his arms, awaiting an answer.

That took him longer than he'd expected. Now he'd get to see just what this master would do to such blantet ignorance of his rules. With a slurpping sound the fish tail disapeared. He smiled at Alaric showing no concern or worry. "I have no idea what you're talking about master. Last I checked you never said we couldn't explore." He answered standing putting the book down.

Skara was brought back to her senses as Alaric passed her, a sudden fear passing her face for a mere second. "I'm sorry Master, I'll be there," She finally replied. Barely getting the words out before the door closed, though the only thing she was sure that he heard was her apology. Waiting a minute she left the room, closing the door behind her. She bolted down the corridor and down the servant's stairs, the friction from the carpet made her bare feet feel like they were burning. Skara ran through the house till she found the courtyard, surprising herself with the quietness of her footsteps. Barely taking a step into the courtyard she collapsed onto her knees, she felt the hem of her dress to find the small bottle she usually carried, only to remember that she had forgotten it at the shop. She got up, pressing her feet against the cold stone she waited for the heat to disperse.

"I did say that you could explore...but did I not also say NOT to take the main stairs?" Alaric said walking closer to Tallis. He walked around him, knowing that he was only trying to push his buttons and giving in would be losing. He let a growl slip from his throat as he watched the oh so indignant look that was plastered all over Tallis' face. "Do you want to be punished, because you are going the right direction..."

To bad he hadn't spent a few days with his mother when she was pissed. Nothing was scarier than her, maybe he could take lessons on intimidation next time he saw her. "Hm....did you? I have to say I don't remember master." Tallis said after a moment of mock thinking, tapping his mouth with a finger. Why did his new master seem to be so much fun to tease?

Not that that was a bad thing, he liked a challenge, it was one of the reasons he bought him. But this was pushing it. "Yes I did say it, and I say it again DO NOT TAKE THE MAIN STAIRS!" He growled again as he moved to punch him in the gut. He never in his life felt like actually beating someone...until now.

Skara listened for a moment to see if anyone was walking towards the courtyard, hearing no one she took off out of the courtyard. She flew through the house until she found a bathroom. She turned on the sink for a second, freezing the water as it came out. Turning off the sink she exited the bathroom, holding the ball of ice in her hands. Heading back to the courtyard she heard someone yell. Letting her curiosity get the best of her she followed the sound to a room with the door open. Skara stayed a few feet away from the door, and without even needing to look inside she knew that it was Alaric and Tallis.

The cramped room kept him from completely dodging, but he managed to twist enough so it grazed more of his side. That hurt, damn he'd hate to have felt that dead on. "No need to get violent. It's just a staircase, jeez." Tallis said in a half teasing tone. It was so easy to get under this guys skin.

He coughed, spitting up some blood. Oh man, that smarts. Trying to sit up he grinned a little. "There's nothing hard about listening to a simple order. I just didn't feel like obeying it at the moment, after all I wanted to explore the front of the house." Talis answered with another cough.

Skara had heard more than enough to not to want to be there anymore, she turned and started to walk away. Though only after a couple of steps did she step on a board that creaked, it wasn't loud but it sent her flying down the corridors without thinking. By the time she calmed down enough to stop she was in a place that she hadn't been before and wasn't exactly sure which way she had come.
