The mechanic opened the door to his shop "Little girl, you're sister's arm is done." "Thank you, how much do I owe you?" "Don't be silly you've already payed" Fate had almost forgot, in the memory she created for him Lost and her payed up front. "Fear, can I have some help?" ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^~

ℓø§t ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^~"You're best best would be to have her asleep then" Fate began to follow Fear. Walking, a simple pleasure she hadn't done in so long. Every little step was a reminder that she was alive again, that her sister brought her back, that Lost proved that she truly was the better alchemist like in their arguments because she could successfully bring someone back from the dead and Fate couldn't. Then it hit her and Fate stopped walking all together. That's when Lost died, in one of their arguments. Then Fate tried a human transmutation on her...and failed. Fate looked at the girl nested in Fear's arms "How is she here?" she asked with fear lining her tone ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^~

You have no idea the things she went through to be able to bring you back. And about what you said earlier, I don't want to go, but I've seen it happen. My death that is. Truth's door showed me. And if I try to avoid the death I saw... let's just say I won't." Fear said as he continued toward the nearest hotel. It would probably still take a few minutes.

ℓø§t ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^~Fate paused for a moment, seemingly thinking the subject over. Then she began to smirk, then giggle, the break out into a full out laugh "You still listen to Truth?" she asked as though it was the dumbest thing on earth. Fate began to walk again, following Fear while still slightly laughing "I've lived with Truth for years and years. It's nothing but a lie." she paused for another moment, that would need explanation. "What's true one day might not be the next. Once there was a disease that swept the nation, killing off everyone infected. The truth was that death was inevitable. Then humans came up with a defense, medicine. Death was no longer inevitable, more and more people survived until the disease wasn't a big deal anymore. It was once true that alchemy required equivalent exchange. Now the Philosopher's Stone proved that wrong. It was also true that immortality was impossible. Monsters known as Homunculi were created, achieving the goal of immortality. So I stopped listening to truth, ignoring it and learning to live above it" "And that's how you rise up above those who've seen Truth. That's how you win. You change the future to fit your own wishes." Lost finished quietly, barley awake yet. "It's been done so many times it's child's play" ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^~

If what was at stake wasn't or isn't going to be, then I wouldn't give the showing of my death a second thought. But something very important to me is going to be on the line. If it's not, no problem. If it is though, I have no choice. Quite frankly though, death doesn't bother me. I've made my peace. I can see why Lost wanted you back. You have a very go-get-'um personality." Fear said, then becoming quiet. He just kept looking at Lost's face, even touching her hair and cheek every so often.

ℓø§t ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^~Fate and Lost both smiled at Fear's comment "Of course I wanted her back," "we're twins." they didn't finish each others sentences often but they could, just more proof as to how close they were "And we're still not done finding alternatives." Fate added Lost's smile turned to shock. As far as Fate knew all three of them were human. Seeing that Lost's arm didn't regenerate like normal didn't help to much either. Lost beckoned for Fate to come closer and she took off the necklace she recently learned in Truth was a philosopher's stone and put it around Fate's neck "It'll help with your alchemy" before giving Fear a chance to say anything she looked back up at him "So you really plan on dieing on me?" Lost seemed to tense up "It better be a damn good reason" ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^~

"Trust me, the reason is about one of about three things I would die for. And while I know I'm not going to live for another 30 years, other than that I'm not sure when it will happen. Man, I just realized I'm really old... Unless you are too, does that make me a pervert?" Fear said with a laugh.

Fear was probably much older then them but Fate...Fate didn't need to know the monster Lost had turned her into. If homunculi were artificially created humans then they obviously weren't human and Lost couldn't take that one quality Fate seemed to enjoy the most away from her ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^~

He gave Lost an understanding smile as they entered the hotel. Fear got the best room they had and set Lost in on a bed there. Then he sat down in a chair and started drinking some sake. Fear thought to himself, "The day I die, I hope Lost doesn't figure out why I died. If she meant it when she said she loved me, then it would tear her apart."

ℓø§t ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^~Lost put her hands behind her head and froze when she felt the cold metal touch the back of her head That's right, even with the Philosopher's stone that was still my price for Fate she though looking at her sister who had taken a seat on the edge of the bed. "Um...can I ask either of you a question?" Fate asked quietly "Yeah, fire away." "Back at the mechanic's I...make the guy remember something that never happened..." "It's alchemy." Lost lied, making it sound like it was true "A new type of alchemy as our reward for way back when. I take memories and you give them. Equal exchange" ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^~

What if they... on me... No, that's crazy talk. I've known Lost long enough before Fate came. Or did I?" Fear started noticeably sweating and having shaky hands. He snapped himself out of it. He thought something that calmed him, "Even if she did do that, I still love her, and fake memories or not, that isn't about to change." Then he scooted up to Lost and said, "What you said back at the bar... Did you really mean it? I need to know now because I won't be able to take it if you tell me later."

Out of the corner of his eye he saw Fate and thought, "So I have everything, and Fate... well she would make an interesting sister-in-law... if that ever happened."
