I went on the first day it was open! I was very impressed. But the thing I liked the most was that they really didn't change it all that much, they just put Jack in in a few places.
The new animatronics are very, VERY awesome.
The thing they changed the most, and the change I didn't like, was the Treasure Room at the end. They took out the tied-up guys and the drunken pirates and now there's nothing there but Jack! So that made me sad. But mostly it was just plain awesome.

I'm going back to Disney World next weekend, but I saw some video of the new additions on the Disney Channel. And I must say, the animatronic Jack looks awesome. My first thought was "They let Johnny Depp hang around inside the ride on opening day?!"

I finally rode the new PotC ride!
It looked like they were running two lines (like the system on Space Mountain), but mabye they were before and I never noticed?
The animatrons were awesome! You see Captain Jack three times through the ride. There were also some other additions (like Davey Jones at the beginning, Barbosa on the pirate ship, the wenches for sale in the market).

I just went on the new version about a week ago- i was really impressed! Jack looks so real, they got his movments exactly right. And you gotta love Barbossa!

You'd get some pissed off employees and managers on you very quickly if you broke down a popular ride.
