Ain't that the truth. His movies have gone down hill or I have just out grown them, either way it matters not.

So at the moment I'm watching a few films for an essay. So far I've got through "It" (1929), "American Beauty" (1999), and "Mildred Pierce" (1945). I've still got "Bonnie and Clyde" (1967?) to go. Has anyone seen these films? Comments?

I'm thinking of the Stephen King It. which is 1990. is that the one you're watching or something else.

Something else. Starring Clara Bow. It's a silent film.

Lady Kira X It was 1929? I'm thinking of the Stephen King It. which is 1990. is that the one you're watching or something else. Given that Stephen King isn't in his 80s, he would have to be born well after that, and given that he wrote the "It" that you're thinking of, it's probably a safe bet that this is a different one, though I'm not familiar with it, either.

I thought maybe it was a typo. never know.

I have to say I found it amusing that one would immediately conclude a typo had been made simply because of King's famous novel. Given the subject matter of the other films and the year of release given for It, one should be able to conclude that it refers to the "it factor" not an evil space clown. ^^;

You're the first person to not automatically assume it was the Stephen King "It". Have you seen the one I'm talking about? Also, having just finished Bonnie and Clyde, I do admit that it doesn't disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

No, I have not seen this It, but given that Clara Bow (the it girl of her time) was featured in it, I figured it was a safe assumption. I shall have to check it out some time. Are you studying film history now, too? Or is it just an elective?

It's part of my history course to complete my degree. The paper is called American History Through Hollywood Film, and has covered the period between the 1920's to today. It's been one of the more interesting papers I've taken by far. It is definitely a film worth watching - I've found that the actors and actresses in silent films are always more enjoyable to watch, and, in my opinion are more talented than those of today.

Never Stop Dreaming...I like action, adventure, fantasy. But action movies are the BEST. I'll tolerate romance. Slashers and ghost movies make me laugh. I don't watch horror unless it's really good.
I just recently saw the movie Gamer that came out last year. It was a good movie, Simon was an exact clone of my older brother. Last night we watched Friday The Thirteenth 4-7 because I had never seen them before. Honestly, the only thing keeping me from changing the channel was my love for Jason haha. then we watched Halloween Two, but I fell asleep and missed the end. Of That Beautiful Place..
