One of these days letters are gonna fall from the sky telling us all to go free
'Cause even though you left me here I have nothing left to fear

The greek god rose from his mighty throne, his expression tired and weary. Sure, he took the form of a forty year old man, but in reality, he was more than 2000 years old. To him it seemed as if every line and wronkle on his face were caused by his big family. Most of which from his countless amount of children, his wife, Hera, and his pitiful brothers. Because Poseidon had run off with his "attendant" Nike, and Hades dealt with Persephone and her unheavenly mother, Demeter, Zeus was left with his beloved wife, Hera. He did love her, despite the many lovers he did have. But she always accused him of cheating. It was as if that was the one thing in her life that gave her something to do. So, he slept with more and more mortals, just "so she wouldn'tget bored" as he put it. Hera had bore him numerous children, including Ares, the god of war, *********, and his precious daughter Eileithyia. He loved them all, even if he did not show it. If he dared show compassion toward anyone, the other gods would deem him a weak god, and would possibly attempt to restrain him in order to decide to take his place. He would bathe in the River Styx before he let one of his brothers take his place, or anyone else.

Zeus sighed. It was quiet on Olympos lately, which was acceptable to him. But there were the occasional interruptions by his demi-god children. So he decided this would be the best place to hide out... at least, until the discovered his new location. He frowned as an Iris message popped up in front of him. It was from Aphrodite, one of his other daughters, the goddess of love and beauty. It read:

To:Everyone
From: The loveliest Aphrodite
OMG! You all will never believe what news I have! Kratos and Eielthyia eloped! Not only that but you know how she's been pregnant for a while? Well not anymore! A few days ago, somewhere in Colorado, she deliver 5 adorable babes to Kratos' name. One set of triplets, two boys and a winged girl, and one set of identical twin girls! I haven't seen them yet, but news spreads fast when the goddess of love! Anyway, see you all at the next family meeting! Ciao!

The message had completely outraged him! Wasn't it bad enough his own brother had run off with one of his assistants, but his own daughter to run off with another? He slammed his potent fist against his secondary throne in rage. It wasn't until he read the fourth to last few sentences he couldn't control his anger. Zeus roared in fury. Thunder could be heard as it ricocheted against the many white marbeled walls of his palace, and lightning brightened it up completely. After a long, long... long moment, he setteled most of his anger and sat back down in his seat. There was a long, rigid crack running down the side. It was a bit thin, so it wasn't very noticeable. Though, he'd have Hepheastus take a look at it once he got the chance.

It wasn't so much as he disliked Kratos. It was the fact that he resembled his son Ares, including both physical feats and personalities. Ares had multiple affairs with Aphrodite, so Kratos and Eileithyia were a kind of... reflection of the both of them. He wasn't too fond of Ares and his temper, but he learned to ignore it for his daughter. But Kratos better watch it unless he wanted to find himself buried under some dorment volcano out in Italy.

(( Eh, yeah I know it's a bit wimpy. It's almost midnight and I'm basically falling asleep right now...))

((You call this wimpy?!?!?! OMG! It hurts my eyes just looking over it... I hate it when letters are small like that... I have to strain to read it... But, anyway, cool layout dude! And this is not wimpy... ))

(( Well, thank you! Of course it wasn't one of my best layouts, but I do appreciate it!
And you think that's bad.. Should I show you a post I made for Kronos? Though, it might not be appropriate for the guild, seeing as it has murder and such. -shrug-))

Kratos was stuck in between a rock and a hard place especially with the fact Zeus was angry at him. However he had dealt with Zeus' fury for over a millennium him and all of his siblings had and although he hadn't been the object of Zeus' fury the most he had seen what he could do and would do. Just look at what happen to Nike. So he stood there in front of Zeus silent and unmoving like a statue. Plus he couldn't blame Zeus with being angry but he thought he was wrong at who he was directing his anger at he had ten years to notice that his Little Girl was pregnant and if hadn't then it was only himself he could be angry with.

Then all of the sudden Aphrodite appeared and started ranting on and on and on about how she had been left out. Kratos only rolled his eyes at the the Goddess of Love. Standing there he noticed the Sophia had gotten bigger and setting her on the ground he saw that she had gone from being a ten year old to being around 15. Looking around at all there children he noticed that they to looked around fifteen. But he couldn't think about that for long as Eilethyia gasped out in pain and in an instant Kratos had his arms around her holding her gently genuine concern on his face that only someone who loved her and wanted to live with her forever could have."Are you alright."Kratos asked her as he gave both Aphrodite and Zeus a look telling them not to upset her as at the moment the only thing guiding his thoughts was his love for Eilethyia.

Hermes kept running his eyes over the youngest child, but then his eyes twitched to the charming Aphrodite. She wasn't making him want to love the child, was she? He frowned with a hint of anger and refused to look at the child any more, deciding to listen in. Though, it was terribly awkward standing in the distance with his eyes itching to glance at the smallest child and his hands itching towards something else he could steal easily. It wasn't even that nice, he just wanted to steal it because he could! It would be the perfect timing, no one looking in his direction, no one paying him any attention! He could steal so much.....

Eilethyia fell, snapping Hermes right out of it. He took a step forwards and then stayed where he was, taking a glance at Zues to see what he thought about her falling incident. He ran a glance over Aphrodite again, what had she said that had caused this? He hadn't been listening at all but then again, why would he? Why should he? Shouldn't he leave or something? Before he said or stole something he shouldn't have stolen or said? He risked a glance at Sophia. He needed to get out of here before Aphrodite started noticing his glances, unless she was causing the glances. Hermes frowned again and tried to distract himself.

"Are you going back into labour?" He suddenly moaned. Hermes scowled silenly to himself, what a great way to distract yourself! Draw attention to yourself! What if someone got annoyed? It was such a stupid and annoying thing to say. Out of all the people to say it to as well, with Zues right next to him. He should have stayed on the look out wall or gone to his palace instead of go to see if Zues was ok! He would obviously be angry or upset or something, why bother? He'd probably want some time alone and gather a thunder storm or something. Why didn't he think that at the time? So far, he'd said and done all the wrong things.

((I'm so sorry! I forgot about this. I've been busy...))

Zeus rolled his eyes, rubbing his temples in agony. Why does he have to deal with this now? Shouldn't there be some sort of war going on between Ares and... anyone? Or maybe Poseidon attempting a rape at some mortal girl. Any of that would have been easier to deal with. Her daughters were all overlydramatic, he would admit that. Although, he was too. Perhaps that's where they got it from... Sighing, he listened to what all the other gods were sayng, trying to get through this without blowing the roof off.

((Don't have time to post layout. P.S. computer down. Can't buy new one for another month.))

Eilethyia gasped softly once again as she held her side. She knew this pain that differed others anywhere. She was having a miscarriage. No sooner did she relize it that a thin trail of thick, shimmery blood ran down her thighs, calves, and legs. Staining the bottom edges of her dress. "I hope your all happy." she said sadly as she tried holding back her tears. She stood back up and held her head high, though she felt the effects of the baby dying by her slowing dying as well. She looked around the room at the fellow gods. Her 5 recent children had now fully grown to be anywhere from 16 to 20 something. The boys left off on some adventure all there own. Irene and Helene followed suit. But Sophia left her father's side and walked over to her Hermes. They held the same look of ...not lust, but actually devotion and they quickly flew away hand in hand. Probably to his palace to ...well you know. She has powers similar to her mother after all. This left Aphrodite, Kratos, Eilethyia and Zeus. Eilethyia could feel her heart slowing down and knew there was only one way to heal fast enough to keep from dying. And the others did as well. These four gods were the only ones who knew that Eilethyia was Zeus's favorite affair and at the top of his rotation. He slept with her 50% of the time, while all the other women were the other half time. Plus with him being the most powerful god, if she bore his child she would not only live but grow stronger too. Her, Aphrodite and Kratos made a deal many moons ago. Whenever Zeus wanted Eilethyia or Eilethyia needed Zeus, Aphrodite and Kratos were aloud an affair with each other as well. And if Zeus was to impregnate Eilethyia, Kratos had permission to impregnate Aphrodite. Either that or Aphrodite and Eilethyia were aloud to make more bi-sexual/gay children on earth. Eilethyia looked back and forth between her sister, husband, and father before nodding at Aprhodite. Letting her decide. Although knowing the goddess of love, she'd want all the love to herself. So Eilethyia guessed, they'd go and leave the men to themselves. But then again, that was just a guess. Still she felt Aphodite's powers shimmering all around her.

Kratos stood their like a great statue completely unmoving as he watched the blood drip down her legs staining her dress and the floor. And in his heart he felt something die inside of him as well but no in the way Eilethyia was feeling it. He knew what was going to happen next he knew he wasn't powerful enough to heal her like this only Zeus could and although he hated the mere thought of them together he had to let it be unless he wanted to lose her. Still that didn't mean he had to like it he rarely did anything with Aphrodite other then those two times but that was a long time ago when Eilethyia had spent to much time with her dear daddy.

Kratos loved her to much to do make love to another woman and Eilethyia knew that. He knew she also knew that no matter how powerful Zeus was that all he was he couldn't love Eilethyia like he could. She may be his daughter but to Kratos she was everything he was apart of her as much as she was apart of him and if she were to die he knew deep down that his heart would go with her. His body and mind would stay but his heart would be dead as if a stake had been driven through it.

He turn to walk away but stopped as he leaned down and whispered into Eilethyia's ear these words"I love you more than any one man or God could love you so do you have to do to live because if you go I'm going to go to the ends of the earth to bring you back.". As he finally went to leave so that he didn't have to see what would happen next he gave Zeus and Aphrodite a cold hard stare before he disappeared to somewhere where he could think in peace and find something to distract him while he waited for Eilethyia to return to him.

(I AM NOT RUNNING OFF TO MY PALACE WITH SOPHIA TO DO YOU-KNOW-WHAT! Please, I don't want to do that. She can come hold my hand though, since you said that's what she's doing.)
Eilethyia was bleeding onto the floor. A miscarraige? Is that what it was? Hermes looked at her face, yes, that was what was wrong. 'I hope your all happy.' She had said, Why would we be happy that you had a miscarraige? He thought, but kept it to himself and put on his best sympathetic look "We're, well, I am really sorry about that. It must've meant a lot to you..." he looked at the blood on the floor and did his very best not to make a face of disgust, he did his very best to keep up his sympathetic look and smile for her too.

Then he noticed that Sophia was suddenly walking towards him and she stopped beside him and reached out for his hand. Hermes looked at Sophia in surprise, but then a warm smile spread on his face and he took her hand and squeezed it back. He lifted a bit from the floor, his winged shoes flapping softly. When he realised this, he stopped them and sunk to the floor. His eyes gave Aphrodite one suspicious glance before they looked over Sophia again. And again. Then once more, just to be sure she was next to him, holding his hand, looking back at him with the same kind of look.

Were the others paying attention to him? He ripped his eyes away from Sophia and glanced at Eilethyia, Kratos, Aphrodite and then finally Zeus. He gave weak chuckle under his breath and smiled as his glance came over his shoes and stayed there so he couldn't meet anyone's glance. His eyes still straying to Sophia when he hoped no-one bothered to look.

((Yeah, and have you ever heard of a miscarriage of the gods? I think that in Ancient Greece, if you had a miscarriage, something was deemed wrong with you, and you were a disgrace. Why no gods had them..)))
