Here's a thought: Lets allow Two Characters.
The Classical world is a huge place with many stories going on at once. More characters lets more of the world to be utilized. But we should only allow two characters at most. Any more and it will get confusing.

Well I brought it up to him in a PM.

In the meantime, who wants some exotic goods being bartered by the Punic Princess of Piracy? 3nodding

You're dealing with greeks and romans, my dear. They wouldn't know a good deal if you slapped them in the face with a 50% OFF sign.

I said greeks and romans. I didn't say Celts now did I?
Say my druidish friend, could I interest you in the Miracle of Cyrene known as Silphium? A Seasoning better than Pepper and Cinamon, an Aphrodesiac more potent than Spanish Fly, and a Medicine greater than Hippocate's own skill, this herb is guarenteed to improve even your herbalistic potions and magic! You can not go wrong with Silphium my friend, and as a proud Celt, longtime allies of Carthage, I'm willing to sell, to you the discerning customer, at a discount!

And nothing goes better with Silphium than sweet Numidian Figs and Vintage Carthaginian wine from the finest vineyards in Africa! It is a luxurious and filling combination that only a mud farming Roman would be fool enough to pass up!

Yes! Fine Egyptian Cotton, grown on the banks of the ever fertile Nile! Why chafe your loins with burlap and wool when your clothes can be made of the finest clothing material in the world?! You'll be the talk of Stonehenge in your Cotton Kilt and robes and never again know uncomfortable rubbing and chaffing!
