JAB the STEELGRADE A topic that I would like to bring up is about Bear Walken. In one episode where Bear was talking to Harry, he took off his shades and looked into Harry's eyes. As soon as he took off his shades, it struck me that Bear Walken could very well be Ishbalan.
For those of you who are familiar with the anime "Fullmetal Alchemist" then you know what an Ishbalan looks like.
An Ishbalan has brown skin and red eyes, and that is a very distinctive feature. And Bear Walken has those very same features.
Was Fullmetal Alchemist aired before, or after, Gungrave? (In Japan, I mean)
It's just something I was wondering about ^^ Wow! Really!!! I guess I missed that episode or something!! I think..... GUNGRAVE came out first... but I'm not positive about that....

Bear Walken first appeared in the first Gungrave game and best my research can come up with is that the game came out in mid to late 2002, likely sometime between July and August I guess.
The Fullmetal Alchemist manga first appeared in Japan in August of 2001. Scar probably didn't appear until a month or two later, but nonetheless that puts him as being created almost a year before Bear. So it's possible you've got something there...

Hells yeah, Gungrave is based way way way into the future but things don't look changed so much ya know. I though that far into the future would atleast have a couple of flyin cars but I guess the whole bringin people back to life thing makes up for it.
