Asuka Bokuro
 Asuka's eyes started to tear up as she started to cry.
She almost subconsciously clinged to Raidou, Her arms wrapping tightly around the other girl.
"I'm sorry Kuzunoha-Sama! I'm so sorry!"
She buried her face into Raidou's shoulder "I'm so sorry Eligor..." She whimpered softly, sorry that she had dissapointed her mentor and Idol, and just as much that she had put her companion Eligor through that fight.
"Please... Forgive me..."

 "There, there..." Raidou said, hugging Asuka with one arm. "Everybody makes mistakes sometimes in their life; it's what you do afterwards that matters. What I really want is for you to learn about responsibility. You're a good girl, and you have potential, but your training isn't complete yet." she nodded slightly. "And not all lessons are about combat. I know you have a lot of determination, so I'm positive you'll be able to see this through. And remember to listen to your heart, all right?"

Asuka Bokuro
Asuka nodded, her head still buried in Raidou's shoulder.
She still continued to cry. Not about Raidou, but about her companion.
"I can't... I can't belive I put Eligor through that... Waaahhh!"
Many summoners saw their summons as tools, but Asuka was one that thought of them as close friends.
She couldn't help but feel guilt, letting them get hurt due to her own ignorance. "I feel like... Such a fool." She said sobbing.

"Well, you are." Raidou answered reasonably, gently stroking Asuka's hair. "Very foolish indeed, which is why I'm punishing you. Just remember that I'm doing it to help you grow. Who knows? You might even get more out of it than I'm expecting." she continued to hold her crying apprentice. "And remember how you're feeling now, so that next time, you will remember to ask for your companions' help wisely. Wouldn't you like to get strong enough to be sure that this never happens again?"

Asuka hugged Raidou even tighter.
"Yes... I know all of this is my own fault... I deserve everything I get." She sobbed a little, but seemed to be calming down.
"I'm not going to make any excuses... I need to grow up a little if I'm ever going to have chance of being as good a summoner as you..."
She lifted her head off Raidou's shoulder, tears still filling her eyes and covering her face.
"Oh Lady Kuzunoha... I don't know where I would be without you. Thank you."

"Darn straight you do; that's why you're getting it. Act in such a way as to deserve a higher place, and you'll get it. Act like a child, and I'm going to treat you like one." Raidou responded, though she didn't stop holding her apprentice. Kids these days; what could you do? "So be a good girl, all right? Or a very bad girl if you must. Something important to remember, Asuka, is that rules tend to exist for a reason, and you should follow them. But if a time comes when you need to break them, then break them hard." she let go of the girl and ruffled her hair a bit. "Seeing as everything's fine here, I guess I'll get back to work now. Come find me someday soon and we'll get to work on training your skills as a Summoner." Smiling, Raidou headed for the door.

Asuka smiled as Raidou ruffled her hair. "Yes, I'll be a good girl." She said with a nod.
She nodded at Her mentors following words.
"You're leaving already Lady Kuzunoha?"

Raidou merely smiled. "Part of holding my name is being pretty busy." she answered gently as she opened the door and stepped outside. "Our job is to protect this city, after all." She nodded firmly as she headed off.

Asuka smiled as Raidou left. "Goodbye Lady Kuzunoha."
She decided to find a bathroom with a mirror, to fix herself up after all that crying, to check herself for any unseen damages and to make sure her outfit was all in order.

Asuka returned to the living room, and sat down to reflect on what Lady Kuzunoha had said to her.
"I need to learn to think before I act... Unless I can show that I've grown, Lazy Kuzunoha will treat me like a child forever."
She frowned slightly, twitching around on the couch, not being able to get quite comfortable.
And despite the fact that she had been crying her eyes out just a few minutes ago, she was starting to feel good.

Rednal
Rednal yawned a bit as he wandered back into his house after getting out of his club's meeting. "I'm home!" he called as he took off his shoes and dropped his bag onto the table. Somewhere very deep inside, he was hoping that Asuka was still around and hadn't run off and abandoned him... Rednal wasn't very good with feeling abandoned, all things considered.

"Is that you Rednal?" A voice called from the kitchen.
It was Asuka, clad in an apron, finishing off a cup of instant ramen. "How was school?" She asked simply.

Rednal swallowed hard. Asuka... apron... graaah! He didn't need surprises like that! Enjoyable though they were. Darnit, what was with this girl and hitting his weak spots? "About the same as usual, I suppose. Not as important as some other stuff going on." he said agreeably. "By the way, you can get some better food than that, if you'd like..."

Rednal sighd and shrugged. "Then I'll have to make you eat healthy." he said. The girl must've gotten the ramen herself; his house didn't carry anything of the sort. In fact, Rednal's home really only seemed to have distinctly healthy foods, almost to the level one would suspect they were eating organic on a doctor's orders. Such a thought wouldn't be very far from the truth, either... Rednal heard the main door open a moment later as Yuno came inside.
