HamSTAB0i LiaFairyle HamSTAB0i i've only been to Anime D in Berkley last year... it was my first as well blaugh i'm not a anime con virgin no more LOL Anime Destiny was SUCH a great con! Did I meet you? (My sig pic is me in the morning of Anime Destiny, but I had to change into civvies in the afternoon.) And I didn't vote...because there is no option that says how many cons I've been to! I think I'm at 14... >_0 I know I went to 10 or 11 last year. no wonder the background of your picture looks so familar.... but i don't think i saw you there... i kind of went later in the afternoon i think... but i didn't get to see the cosplay contest crying ... was it good? Quite honestly I didn't get to see much of the contest, because I was in Iron Cosplay. Making mecha out of cardboard, tape, and red vines, along with a bunch of paper plates and s**t! YAY!

KathyDool I haven't been to one, but I might be going to Anime Next in June.. I live in NYC.. The closest convention WAS the Big Apple Anime Festiva in Times Squarel.. but that isn't happening anymore.. crying Liverpool, NY here..........what do u mean its not happening anymore, i thought that it was just cancelled becuase of the elections and it was gonna pick up on 2005

Your poll doesn't go high enough. If you only count anime conventions, I've been to 11. If you include sci-fi cons as well, the number jumps to around 60 events. There were a couple of years when my husband and I were promoting Sakuracon, and we went to every SF con in the Pac NW.

I've been to the Anime Expo in Aneheim, CA about two times and I must say, I loved it both times that I've been there. I'm going to attend this year's Anime Expo (same place) as well--and guess what! I'm gonna be cosplaying!
Hint to everyone here who's gonna attend AX2005: Look for Yuki Sohma in a dress, Kazuki Fuuchoin, or Takuto Kira! wink 'Cause, those are the characters I might be cosplaying as...might okay? ^^; I just have to start making them >>;

biggrin WOW!!! I guess alot of people have been to anime cons all over the place!!!! Anime Expo, Otakon, Sakuracon etc. Personally, if you haven't been to a convention, never give up hope!!! You'll get to go to a convention someday xd !!! I'm sorry my poll didn't go higher, I didn't realize I only put up to 6 xp !!!! Personally I envy the people who live in California and Japan, I've read soo many things about the conventions in those places it sounds like a TON of fun!!!! But I guess we can all say that as long as conventions are around... It's all good (or great xd )
