I really like #2 Having the world all mangled like that, at least in our lil part of the world would probably have me participating in the roleplay this time around. ^_^

Like options one and two, but I'm not sure how to fit King into option two. Though I guess a simple MAGIC issued gas mask could work...

I really love the idea of using Option 2 as a frame/setting in which we can enact the other options (and perhaps more besides). But I also think running around reeking of diesel fumes and seared metal is awesome fun.

Rokishic Zazin I agree with Frogger that 2 is also at the top of my list, but then what Ash said. It'd be cool to combine them all or at least a couple. Hopefully not making the plot to complex. I was told a million times of all the people in my way well, we could combine them by not having the RP bound to aekea, but then we might lose a general focus... So far the idea of aekea being a screaming metal death trap is getting some good hits. how I had to keep on trying and get better ev'ry day

All the organic life forms would need is some form of ventilator, or breathing apparatus... Vee'd make that sort of thing for folks... Scrounge mechanic for the win. cool

Well so far it seems like a high majority for #2 as a base for the roleplay.
So what do you say I work on the intro post, go with this basic concept for a bit and see how we like it?

Under this sort of plot though, would members of the guard be peacekeepers, or the sort trying to keep people in?

I would say a bit of both? I'll have to set up the deal with Hayley. But perhaps the guard would switch off duties, or decide on where they work?

I was told a million times of all the people in my way also, I think we should do what we can to keep continuity, like for example any weapons or magic would have to be a product of the environment. I would guess in an aekea like this, the town guards oughta keep a tight watch on contraband items like conventional shotguns and katanas. I think we should keep weapons like how they have in Bioshock and dead space. building tools and mining gear refitted to be weapons, like a rivet gun, or a saw sword. how I had to keep on trying and get better ev'ry day

Hey guys, sorry I'm late. DX
In any case, if we do #2 (which I love), I'm all on board for playing the villain for this. Or at least an antagonistic character that people generally dislike for her policy. I actually think it would be really, really fun. If you lot are okay with me switching my character around just a little to better play the part and to have that kind of place in our circle, I'd love to do it.
Militaristic stuck up b***h keeping the techies down? Sounds peachy. smile

Bioshockkkk weapons yeah.
If Hayley's got the antagonistic side of the guard, I can handle the conflicted watchdog underling; after all, Charlie's technically speaking not allowed out of the city either. But he's too much of a coward to say anything in his or anyone else's defense, so it'd work like a good niche for him. cx
