He smiled as he took his arm before blinking and then blushing even more.”Oh I am so sorry about that,”he said seeming a bit flustered.”My name is Ahiru Jing,a pleasure to meet you.”Which was true,he usually didn't like any boys from the on campus dorm rooms but there was just something about him that drew him in.”Sorry for not saying who I was earlier...I guess it just seemed to slip my mind and all.But anyway,I know a great place near by that serves the best sushi!And whats even better is that my Daddy has a tab there that I can add to,so we don't have to pay anything,”he said to him with a giggle.
As they walked out of the room,he seemed to blush a bit as some students happen to notice them.”I hope you will tell me if my father or anyone gives you trouble.I am tired of him for trying to pick my friends...I want to experience things on my own for once without him breathing down my neck,”he explained before he gave him a sheepish smile.Though after a few minutes he seemed to be quiet when they made their way of the campus grounds.
It wasn't that he didn't want to talk but he was trying to think of things to say.He wasn't sure what would be best,not wanting to offend his new friend,maybe possibly something more.

"Ahiru?" Leon said the name a few more time, each time his smile growing. "Such a pretty name with a pretty face. It's no problem at all. I never asked, a true gentleman would've asked. Guess I need to watch a few more James Bond movies 'cause I'm not making the cut." Leon smiled. He led Ahiru out of his dorm and locked it after them. Leon was slightly intrigued to why a girl of her standards, power, and beauty would want an average person as himself, but he'd learned to count and accept his blessings and just went with it. "Really now? A tab already set up? Hmm, might not have wanted to tell me that. I just realized how hungry I was." Leon gave a chuckle, hoping his joke made Ahiru smile and not offend.
Leon gave everyone who looked to Ahiru with anything less than respect the evil eye. Most of them scurried away, knowing who Leon was outside of the school walls. Leon pulled Ahiru closer to his body, ready to protect her if need be. He knew how to fight and wasn't afraid to get a little dirty if it was needed. Leon smiled at Ahiru to reassure her. "Trust me, if he bothers me, I won't have to tell you. The rumor mill will grind itself to ash over that tale. You'll hear it long before i have to chance to even find you to tell you."
Leon felt the silence between them and worried if he wasn't entertaining her enough. He didn't know what to say or how to say it. Had he been with his buddies, he'd have made lewd jokes or commented on one of the teacher's outfits, but none of that seemed right now that he was with Ahiru.

Ahiru smiled,feeling a bit happy to have such a handsome and strong person holding him.Though that thought quickly finished as he realized he was lieing to him about something important.'If this comes up to be more then just friendship...that is when I will tell him,'he thought.Standing up straight,he looked up the street before turning to him.”And you can order what you want alright,don't worry about it.If you want I could order for us...the crab here is really good and so is the lobster and oysters,”he said to him,already feeling really hungry.”Oh if we end up staying here to long...you could always invite your friend if you want.Was that the one that I heard earlier with the whistles,”he asked him.
It wasn't that he was upset but was just curious of who that person was.He wasn't used to hearing people do things like that,which was a refreshing change from the uptight and fake people he had been forced to friend because of his father.He seemed to groan at that thought but soon smiled as they arrived at the restaurant.”Oh here we are and oh my table is open.”Smiling,he quickly lead him in where he was greeted warmly the waiter.Once he had given their name,he checked to see him on the V.I.P list before taking him to their table.”Can we have a few minutes to order please,”he said as they were lead to the table.

Leon smiled." I'm not the greedy and I'd feel horrible for making someone else pay for me if I ate a lot. Don't you worry about me, I'm used to eating small amounts and surviving, one of the things you learn when you grow up poor." Leon flipped his hair from his face, unashamed of his past. Leon listened to Ahiru speak highly of all the food. "Sounds all so fancy to me. Most seafood I've ever done was some crab legs steamed over some rice.Here you go describing lobster! Wow, never thought I'd be able to try lobster before I was old." Leon smiled and nodded. "Eh, don't worry 'bout Micah. He'd create a ruckus and it would be so embarrassing. If he wants me, he'll be in my dorm. He has a spare key." Leon was slightly embarrassed at Ahiru's remembrance of his friends rudeness.
Leon let Ahiru lead him through the restaurant, watching the people who could afford meals such as these. Leon felt his stomach growl at the steaming plates that floated by him. They sat down and Leon smiled at Ahiru. The waiter gave him a less that happy smile as he left, but Leon was unfazed. Leon looked at the menus with eagerness. "I'm so hungry, but have no idea what to get. How about you order for me? I'll eat just about anything as long as it doesn't try to eat me first." Leon chuckled at his own joke.

He gave a soft chuckle at the joke,moving some stray hair behind his ear.”You know you really are funny...some people would just try to impress me with their connections or family ties,”he said to him with a small roll of his eyes.”Thats what I like about you so far...you are honest and just talk as you wish...an honest kind man.”Smiling,he looked down to the menu and tried to figure out what they have.”I think...we can have the combo platter...it says it feeds four and that it has plenty of fish,shrimp,crab...oysters.So I think we can settle on that alright,”he said before waving over the waiter.”Thank you for waiting,I would like to order the combo sea food platter and as for a drink...can I have a tea,”he said smiling up at him.
“And what are you going to want Leon...they have good home made lemonade,good sweet tea or just about any coke you want.”Watching him,he could see the waiter giving him a dirty look which made him fron.Biting his lip,he moved to sit next to Leon,smirking a bit as he leaned against him some before leaning up to kiss his cheek then turning his attention to the waiter once more.”Is there...anything wrong,”he asked,giggling a bit when he just took the drink order and left.

Leon smiled bashfully. "Aw, I try." Leon ran his fingers through his hair and smiled. "I don't really have any family connections and the ones I do might just might be out back in the alleyway drunk and brawling." Leon smiled and nodded as Ahiru spoke. "I've found honesty works best when you're dealing with regular people. Kind might now be the best word, but honest works." Leon looked up at the waiter with a soft smile even thought the man was cutting him less than friendly smiles. Leon smiled bashfully as a kiss was placed against his cheek. "Oh gosh, Ahiru, you making me all nervous and blushy with all the affection." Leon looked down at the menu and smiled. "I'll take a lemonade. Do they have them in strawberry? I'll take either honestly."

Ahiru smiled as he watched the waiter go before sitting up with a small blush on his cheek.”I am sorry for not asking permission on that,”he said softly but smiled a bit.”Its just that I didn't like the way he was looking at you...its like a crime if two different people go out.”Pouting a bit,he moved back tot he chair before smiling once more at him.”Your family does sound very unique...usually my family just sits around and talks about business...things that usually don't interest me at all,”he said to him before smiling a bit.”Do you mind if I say something honest to you...I know you may not believe it but for some reason I feel a bit drawn to you.Not only are you a very handsome man but you are such a gentleman,very easy to talk to and didn't say what you wanted to eat.Usually most people I bring try to order the most expensive of everything...you didn't.”
At this point,his cheeks seemed to be a light red,not sure what the other was going to say or do now.He never really tried to pursue any guys before,afraid that they would find out his secret.But at this point,he was tired of always being alone on his birthday and valentines.He was just going to take a chance and hope that this friendship or what ever you called it would work out.

Leon smiled and shook his head. "Twas a pleasure to have such pretty lips grace my cheek, thought it makes me wish I'd shaved before we left. Hope my scruff didn't cut you." Leon rubbed his jaw and faked an injury to his hand. He smiled gently at Ahiru. "I'm not sure if I'd take you home to visit. Between Aunt Joan's uppity attitude towards everyone and Uncle Lucas's drunken tales of wars that never happened except in his mind, you might be scared for life. And if cousin Mike comes over, well...you might see something you'd rather live without seeing. Last year at the Christmas party, the only thing he wore was his Santa hat." Leon shook his head at the memory. His eyes lit up slightly as Ahiru mentioned honesty. "Hmm, sure, why not."
Leon felt a smile grow across his face as Ahiru gave him praise. "Well, I've had a few..better off friends and I've been with their families. I've learned how to behave around those who of the upper class. And I'd feel bad for making you pay a grand fee because I wanted to take advantage of your hospitality." Leon looked at Ahiru's flushed face and couldn't help but let his own face flush. "It's been a long time since I've been around a female of decent caliber. Where I hail from, the only females I see are the ones who are offering things for five to fifty five dollars a visit and if I'm not seeing those females I'm seeing the house wives locked up by their husbands." Leon sighed softly. "I'm just happy to be around woman other than those I grew up around."

Ahiru seemed to smile softly at him before shaking his head a bit at him.”I don't want you to behave just because I am of upper class,”he said softly to him,looking down to his lap a bit before looking back up to him.”I want you to be you because I want to be able to know who the real Leon is.With all his flaws and everything.”Smiling softly,he moved back over to his seat and laid back a bit as he looked to him.”What do you usually do on your weekends?Do you stay there at the school or do you go out on dates with...other girls.”It wasn't that he was trying to be possessive or jealous,he just didn't want to be going out to places with someone who had a girlfriend.
With a small sigh,he quickly shook his head of that thought and smiled back up at him.”I am sorry you can just ignore that question Leon,”he said to him,feeling very bad for asking such a personal question.He had been raised better then that,to not poke into other peoples lives.

Leon shrugged. He wasn't sure what to say to Ahiru's "speech" on getting to know him. He didn't like who he was around his friends sometimes, that wild, hedonistic person who did whatever made him happy. Leon knew Ahiru wouldn't want to know that person. "I'll think about it," he mumbled as he took as sip of his lemonade. He smiled, it was bitter.
Leon chuckled when questioned about his weekend. "Anything but work. they work me to death throughout the week so on the weekends I just chill. Micah was coming over tonight so we could watch a few comedies and drink. he was probably gonna sit on the back ledge and smoke, but I only let him do that if I'm not in the same room with him. Between you and me, what he smokes is not all that legal and I want nothing more to do with the illegal side of life." Leon looked down at the table with a shy smile. "I've actually never had a girlfriend. You'd be the first person I'd ever gone out on a date with in any sense of the word." Leon purposely neglected the fact that he'd slept with his fair share of females in his short lifespan, but that had been in a different part of his life that he didn't like sharing. "Anyway, most of the girls at the school wouldn't want anything to do with this guy. I don't even have enough money to afford the school uniform, I'm just borrowing Micah's. His mom was nice enough to get a few of his old outfits tailored to fit my build. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have one." Leon sucked on his drink again, somewhat staring at Ahiru while he looked past her. "I don't have anywhere to go so i mostly stay at the school. When i get a little money I'll sometimes take the bus to the museum and look at the stuff there. Mom used to take me there when I was younger."

The more he began to hear about his life,the more he began to feel bad for him.The loving side in him wanted to help take care of him,to help make his life better.”I am sorry that your life...has been hard,”he said softly,looking down into his lap.Remembering all the times he had his small fits with his father over simple money things or things he couldn't have made him feel like a spoiled brat.'I just might be that...I don't want Leon to see me like that ever,'he thought a little sadly to himself.Breathing in,he looked up to see their food coming,which made him smile.”Why don't you dig in now.”Smiling,he picked up and placed a napkin on his lap before thanking the waiter.Watching him go,he began to slowly eat before looking to him.
“If its alright with you Leon,I would like to be your friend or what ever you want to call it,”he said with a bright blush,his cheeks heating up more by the second.”Its just...I feel drawn to you and I am liking you already,”he admitted to him,wondering if that was a wrong thing to say on their first date.

Leon looked at Ahiru and smiled. "My life is my life and I've had to live it. No reason to apologize it." Leon looked around the room and smiled. "I've always surrounded by people who are better off than I am because of where I've had to work and go to school. I'm used to stuck up, snobby people looking down on me." Leon's eyes widened as the food approached. "Ohh yes. Food." Leon grabbed a napkin and tucked it into the front of his shirt. He took his fork and picked up a chunk of lobster then ate it. He made a sound of happiness and smiled. "This is sooo good. Gosh...." Leon sipped his drink then looked at its low level. Guess I should've gone easy on this, huh?"

When his small speech seemed to be ignored,he couldn't help but feel a bit hurt.He had just confessed his feelings and he got no reaction.Forcing a smile and a soft laugh,he nodded as he began to eat.At the question,he smiled before shaking his head at him.”Now just go ahead and enjoy it so don't worry about eating properly or anything,”he said,digging into his own food.Though soon he had only eaten half his plate before asking for a tray to go.He would save this to eat later on for lunch tomorrow.”I am just going to powder my nose a bit.”

Leon ordered more to drink and sipped it slower. Leon knew that Ahiru was going to be upset about his confession not getting a response, but Leon had nothing to say to it. He didn't want to say the wrong thing nor sound like he was uninterested. He just didn't know how to reply.
Leon called over the waiter and asked the man to get him some take out boxes and bags. Leon quickly boxed up his portion of the food and ordered a chocolate desert."It's for her, I'm trying to apologize." The waiter eyeballed Leon nastily, but went to fill the order anyway. Leon knotted his napkin in his hand, hoping Ahiru would come before the desert did. He really didn't want to seem greedy by getting caught with a desert while she's been gone.

Ahiru soon came back after a few minutes,smiling as she sat down.”Well are you ready to go when you are,”he asked,just wanting to go home at this point.So maybe this wasn't going to turn out how he had hoped,so he would just have to grin and bare it like he did with most things.Thats when he saw the waiter coming back with another tray of food.”Oh...we didn't order anything else,”he said to him but stopped when the waiter had said it was ordered for him by Leon.Blushing a bit,he seemed to smile softly,feeling touched.”You know you didn't have to order this for me but...thank you.”
He got a fork and took a small bite before getting some and holding it up for him.”Here...I want you to try it,its really good and sweet,”he said looking to him.
