Bio: While growing up on a small farm, Kaplan began to wander the hills and converse with animals. As he grew, he became more and more withdrawn from the human world. His parents and sister worked with him, began to draw him out of his shell. Slowly, he began to interact better with people. Then, it happened. One of their farmhands went mad and burned the farm down, killing everyone but Kaplan. He fled into the woods and has been wandering since then. His story invoked the sympathy of the Harvest Goddess, who expanded his knowledge of the woods in order to help him survive. Kaplan is a wilderness expert who relates well to animals, but his empathy is not magical in orgin.
