"I think," Conroy said smiling, "I already do." What bothered him so much about this, was that he wasn't lying about this; another possible problem to his plans.

Blares eyes lit up and she smiled. "I'm very glad...you know..we are the only human's here" she meant this by they where the only non-direct animals. She smiled and flicked a bit of water at him.

"I guess so..." Conroy said, starting to think about thiss statement. Before he could deduce anything, water splashed at his face. He laughed and splahed her back lightly.

This created a water fight between the two that eventually ended up in blare hugging him to keep his arms to the side. "i win!"

Conroy laughed at this and said, "I guess you do!" He found it odd. He was expecting nothing but suffering in his future. Then Blare shows up and now this. Then again it only was the first day, there was plenty of time for her to decide to really show her intent. Conroy thought back to the shop. She said he might be dishonest if he really knew what she was planning.

She released his arms but lay her head on his shoulder and sighed soaking in the water. "it gets kinda lonley when no one around you is capable of giving you a hug you know?" she said looking around

"Yeah, I know the feeling," Conroy answered, wrapping his arms around her. So what did he know about what she wants? Obviously she has plenty of protection, as demonstrated be rafe. The animals seemed to assist her enough to rule out servants. A few things Blare said echoed in his thoughts: "you know..we are the only human's here"........"it gets kinda lonley when no one around you is capable of giving you a hug." This might have confirmed his fears, but it was still too early to tell.

Blare looked up at a hawk settled on one of the towel racks and shrieked. "looks like it dinner time." she answered getting slowly out of the water. "come on." she seamed to move slowly as if suddenly tired. Wrapping a towel around her she gave him a hand out of the water and handed him the cloths and towel that had been brought for him. She turned her back to him respectfully. "dress please."

Conroy stepped out of the hotspring and picked up the towel. After he had dried off and put on the new clothes, he tapped Blare's shoulder. "I'm ready now." he said, walking towards the door already.

She nodded and led him out the hawk landing on her shoulder. They walked into a huge hall filled with animals running about. The table seated the meat eaters as the vegitarians ate their dinner from the tree's. As she settled on the pillows on the floor by the table plates where placed in front of them and she patted the animals as they went by then raised her cup and all quieted. "my friend! to our family! to our bond! you our newest member!" she cried and the animals all gave a cry in return praise and went to eating. she turned and clicked her mug to his. "welcome." she turned and started eating.

Conroy followed behind Blare into the massive space before them. He sat down beside her. He clincked the mug to Blare's in return after her speech. "Thanks. Thank you for purchasing me, for taking me in, for this right now, for...." his voice trailed off. His words could hardly keep up with his emotions. After a sincere smile, he bagan eating the delicious, well-prepared banquet laid out before them.

She smiled back and soon was steadily making her way through a plate of meat. "good?" she asked

"Good?" Conroy echoed, "It's amazing!" Now, he savored each bite in spite of hunger in times past.

Blare laughed softly yet the sound made the mugs shake. She ate her fill and lay down sideways on the pillows beginning to fall asleep.

After not much longer, Conroy too had finished his meal, very satisfied. He noticed that Blare seemed quite drowsy, laying down on her side. "This may be my only chance." he thought while trying to compose some form of plan. "I take it that your going to rest for the night?" Conroy asked.
