i could easily tell zorin was a woman because of the ahem....figure. and we really dont know shes a lesbain and what makes you think that like what sh was born into and all that

It's called "deductive reasoning". It involves drawing inferences based on either straightforward practical principles—which are the result of careful inductive study—or inference to the best explanation. It worked quite well for Sherlock Holmes, so I figured I'd give it a go. That being said, I could easily be wrong. The fact of the matter is, I'm not trying to establish a backstory for Zorin; I'm simply trying to get you to examine her character a little more closely.
yes i understand that so have you tried shakeing someones hand and know what the do or did?

Are you talking about psychometry, the ability to make relevant associations from an object of unknown history by making physical contact with that object? If so, then no. I give no credence to psychometry. My deductions are based on observable facts, not psychic phenomena.

I always thought Alhambra never really got any credit. No, I don't have any solid convincing words to back this up with. I just always thought he was cool, and everyone seems to forget about his existence. All I really hear about him is people saying that he's a Gambit knock off because his weapon is cards and I don't think that's a fair statement because the weapon they use is about where the similarities end. crying

I don't think he's like Gambit really at all, except for the cards. Gambit, although cards are his preferred weapon, could make anything combustible if he wanted to.

Yeah... stare

Anyway, I agree. Zorin Blitz and Tubalcain Alhambra are the two most under-appreciated characters in Hellsing. And Shelby Penwood. I mean, look at him:

That's a piece of fanart based on a similar image that appears in the final chapter of Hellsing. It's Sir Shelby Penwood, England's Guardian Angel. wink

Yes, that's what I said. It was other people that said he was a Gambit knock-off.

Well how he would be a knock-off might be the cards thing but then again he'd also be a Yu-gi-oh knock-off but instead of poker cards it be a tradeing card game

Penwood is great. ;D
I was going to make a cosplay account of him, but I decided to go with M'Quve instead. (Might as well add M'Quve to the list of unappreciated charcters as well.)

I'm sorry about the mix up, I was agreeing with you. sweatdrop

I agree with both Penwood and M'Quve being under-appreciated. Very rarely do I see fan art of them or anything.
(by the way, that picture's EPIC!)

There seems to be a lot of characters people don't care much for. I wonder why that is. I can see why people hate Zorin, but the rest I don't know. It's strange, because people will be absolutely in love with characters like the Valentine Brothers and Rip Van Winkle who die fairly quickly. On the list so far, we have:

Zorin

Alhambra

Penwood

M'Quve

Wyvern683
Captain

I wouldn't say M'Quve is under-appreciated. He's not an especially important character and he only appears in one chapter. There really isn't all that much to appreciate.
