"Afternoon, ma'am." Scotlyn greeted in reply, a bit surprised at the teacher's sudden arrival. She watched as the teacher closed the door and wondered if she was being locked in.

"I think so." She replied, looking around the classroom again, before turning back to the teacher. "What does this class teach?" She had only signed up because it sounded interesting, she didn't know what the class entailed.
