I don't like Fugazi, but I really like Flock of Seagulls.
Killing Joke, Echo and the Bunnymen, Chameleons UK, Bauhuas, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, The Smiths (my favorite), (VERY EARLY) Cure, etc.
Oh, and New Order, and Nina Hagen.

80's synth!!
im sure people know the type, depeche mode, soft cell, eurythmics...
i seem to have turned away from rap which i used to be heavily into, though <******** the police still holds a dear place in my heart.

Metallica
System of a Down
Iron Maiden
Tool
Bad Religion
Slipknot
Disturbed
And of course, The Beatles

well, i can console myself with this thought, it was the lack of people here that drove me to it...
oh, and yeah, while i am heavily in to 80s synth, and despise mm, i must say, the food pyramid has to be one of the best songs ever, it rules, dispite manson.

I'll listen to almost anything, from rock to country, punk to classical... Favorites at the moment are Billy Joel, Styx, AC/DC, Kansas, Neil Diamond, Greenday.

Hey, you actually have good taste in music. surprised Hrm. I used to be heavily into Marilyn Manson (if that's what you mean). I still like him once in awhile but he gets old fast.

The silly punk rock band "catch-22" is doing a conceptual album about the life of Leon Trotsky.
As for me, I'm still listening to Rammstein nonstop.

Dude, gross.. Metallica.
But hey, I really enjoy these three c.d's I've bought over the past few months.
Say Anything-Say Anything
Like lyrically its tops I guess the lead singer wrote it as a musical, but ended up turning it into an album. It's like listening to genuine rock, it kinda meanders from really involving songs, to lighthearted songs, to you know.. hope inspiring stuff. All there older albums are great too, you can get all of them from www.soundclick.com. They're just one of those bands, you instantly become a fan of. And the more you listen the better it gets.
She Wants Revenge- She Wants Revenge
Groovey.. Grooovey. Emo lyrics usually, but individual completely. I guess rather than emo.. it's more of a sexual tone. But whatever, it's tottally worth the ten bucks.
Fear Before the March of Flames- The Always Open Mouth
Hardcore... Trance.. Metal. Not for everyone, if you're a diehard fan of their older stuff, this album is completely different. But amazing none the less. Basically they seem like geniuses at take noises and guitar riffs that alone, would sound like crap. And then turning them into undeniably creative metal.
Thats... alot of emo music. I thought i'd do more punk this time. But eh.. Bad Religion, Millencolin, and if you have any sense, Smashing Pumpkins.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Beatles, Tchaikovsky, Jefferson Airplane, and of course lots of Russian rock music. Gotta love the Russian rock. There are some weird and freakishly messed up songs, but that's what makes them so great.
