well the only concert i've ever been to was a Brroks and Dunn concert last summer at Camp Pendleton,California.It was for the marines and stuff. My dad's friend , who was part of the marines, got us some tickets.
Before that concert, I really didn't know who Brooks and Dunn was. whee

This really wasnt a concert, but a tv show. The entire season 3 of Nashville Star. I only missed 3 tapings for various heath reasons, including a broken foot for two of them. I got to see Sara Evans, Montgomery Gentry, Charlie Daniels, Jamie O'Neil(shes not that great though), and LeAnn Rimes in addition to the contestants.(GO JAYRON WEAVER!) The best actual concert is a toss up between three. Charlie Daniels's Christmas for Kids concert with Tracy Byrd, Tracy Lawerenece i think, Lonestar, CD himself of course, and some others. That one got my dad back into country music rather than sports talk radio. My Riverstage concert from last year's Fan Fair with John Anderson, The Jenkins, Kelly Coffee, Craig Morgan, and a ton of others. That was cool because it started to rain and that cooled us off. But it also got canceled during Julie Roberts because of a tornado warning. I think the one that takes the cake though was the last offical concert(in the football stadium) of the last offical Fan Fair two years ago. Keith Urban, Wyonna, Neil McCoy, Chris Cagle, Trick Pony, and I dont remember much more. My mom got so mad because I made her stay for all of it, Neil McCoy through Wyonna only because No One Else on Earth was the last song and the one I was waiting for. The WKDF Birthday Bash(a radio station here in Nashville) was pretty good too. Jeff Bates, Buddy Jewel, Sugarland, John Micheal Montgomery(although I missed him, my dad parked in a parking garage that closed at 11, but it was broadcast over the radio), and a few others I dont really remember... Can you tell when I'm excited I forget things... This is normally after little sleep, a lot of sweet tea for some reason, and some good country music... People tell me I act like Im drunk and when I describe how I feel they say it sounds like I am too. Well, looks like I found away to have the fun/embrassing part of being drunk without the hangover and the taste of the junk.

I have to change that. My glorious four days at fan fair takes the cake. Its one huge concert/autograph signing event. Even though I had to miss the last night concert, it was still great. If I had to pick just one performance though, it would be when I saw Bobby Pinson after hours in B.B. Kings Blues Club. As you can tell by my signature, I love him now. In that one night, less than one hour, he did something only one other artist has ever done. Replaced someone as my favorite artist. I have only had three, Trisha Yearwood, Montgomery Gentry, and him. He is amazing, and I am doing everything I can to get people to listen to him. Go buy the CD, or listen to it at CMT.com. The best songs don't even include Don't Ask Me How I Know, which was my favorite song prior to listening to the full CD. The best songs in no particular order are I'm Fine Either Way, Man Like Me, One More Believer,(not the best if you don't believe in God, but I like it. You can listen or not listen to it. Up to you, I employ Elizabeth I's policy. Don't make windows into people's souls about religion), I Started A Band, and Time Well Spent. If I had to pick one, I couldn't. I do believe in God, but that is something that has come under fire in the past few years. To the point that if something hadn't told me to hold on a little longer six months ago, I wouldn't be here today. That thing I was to hold on for was his music, I am without a doubt about it. It helps my depression to listen to him, because I feel I can relate. I'm Fine Either Way or Time Well Spent are most likely the ones most like my life, but One More Believer is how I was getting for a while. Man Like Me will bring tears to someones eyes if they listen to it enough, and at the same time make you feel so... I dont know, there aren't words. The CD is nothing compared to him in public. If you don't believe in God, cut it off just after Time Well Spent, because there is a hidden track of him singing Jesus Loves Me. I can't do him justice, just listen please. Even if its just to the first song, I'm Fine Either Way. It makes me a little happier in my quest to save up the money to buy the CD. I just got two new ones, one because I won it and the other because I have wanted it for years and it was only $4. Looks like I'll be waiting until December, the month of my birth, christmas, and the only money I ever get.

It had to be Kenny Chsney. he was my every first country singer i saw live. i sang to all his songs that i knew. i am only 16 but i am a big fan of him. i had a great time. i want with my older sister and my dad. two songs that he sang live made me cry the songs are "There goes my life" and "The good stuff"
the two songs really mean a lot to me.

Bada Bing I wouldn't call this the best, but definitely a memorable one: Sugarland (the band) played here in Sugar Land (the city) just a few hours ago. They've never actually been here until now (they named their band after it because that's where a friend of theirs lived). The concert took place on the steps of City Hall, with the mayor of Sugar Land and a crowd of several hundred attending. It was free and it was a beautiful day outside, so I decided to stop by and had one Hell of a time. They are awesome live performers and very nice folks. I saw them at Country Usa...they're really good in concert.

I have two....the best concerts I went to were:
(1) The "Say Hay" concert to benefit the Suffering Farmers in Alberta, Canada. There was a huge drought and not many farmers had a chance to get a crop off or have any fields to bail for hay. Their animals were starving, but the "Say Hay" concert was put on to raise money to bring hay in from other provinces from across Canada. The concert included only Canadian Artists like Adam Gregory, Michelle Wright, Paul Brandt and a lot more. It was great to see soooo many artists in one night!! (This was my first concert!!)
(2) My now husband and I saw George Strait when he came to Calgary during Stampede. He put on the best show and we loved every minute of the concert. George moved around the stage and was awesome in person. The only part that sucked was that he didn't play our "wedding song". All in all he puts on a AWESOME show!!

i have only been to two concerts, which were cheap and someone else paid for them and they weren't far away and they were not country, but i really want to go to at least one country concert in my life time.

My favorite concert was last year on the "Somewhere in the Sun" tour by Kenny Chesney, when he came and did Heinz Field stadium in Pittsburgh. Besides his normal lineup for last year's tour (Gretchen, Pat Green, Uncle Kracker), He also brought Keith Urban along for the stadium concerts. It was amazing, and both Kenny and Keith are Entertainers of the Year for a reason. Gretchen's live voice is also amazing. I enjoyed Kenny the most, but would definately love to see Keith and Gretchen again!

Destiny05 Where are you from? Alberta is a WONDERFUL province!! I love Paul Brandt's song Alberta Bound!! It makes me want to cry...lol...I love living here!! Sorry, it's taken me forever to get back to this. I'm from Southern Ontario. The video for Paul Brandt's Alberta Bound makes me want to go even more. I'll get there some day... I will...
