l Hawkeye Pierce l Daimon_Cerberus l Hawkeye Pierce l Daimon_Cerberus My teacher have been lazy with not teaching or giving out homeowrk. With so much time me and my best friend are teaching each other how to speak Na've we can say simple things now. Like, "Ngaru hum zena." or "Oeri ke fpom eltu." Wikipedia had a nice way to learn it till someone changed it, but luckly I printed it out before the change occured. in your sentance "Oeri ke fpom eltu." ke means "not" while rä'ä means "do not". So it should be Oeri rä'ä fpom eltu. (not at all to sound like a douche, just correction in vocab) But that doesn't make sence what you'd be say is "My brain do not well ." what I am trying to say is "My brain not well." Trying to tell my friend I got a headache. With your sentence I would state it with more of a school assignment like saiying "My brain do not well with request(homework)" damn, I thought you said eltu si not eltu, but then wouldnt you use the verb "lu" to say your brain "is not" well? True., but not really sure. it can work either with 'lu' or without it.

And to edit my privious post which had quite a few errors: oel fayli'ut tse'ayeia slayu li'u aleNa'vi. I feel a bit dumb now. Been trying to take a crack at your sentence and so far I only got "I ___ ____ become word Na'vi." Can you tell me what you said so I can understan it better? Still trying to learn the whole adding certain letters in the words when making a sentence.

OR: I can see these words becoming na'vi words. When Na'vi Lanuage was first on wikipedia there was a lot more information and I printed out the 15 pages and then someone changed it. It good what I have and I use it along with the Survival Guide of Avatar to help me. In the Survival book where it has the two music lyrics "hearts" and 'years" have "ä" at the end so I gues that is how they make it more then one heart or year. It is just a guess.

Lazurkri you guys are actually speaking it? wow....I'm still trying to get my mouth around the pronunciations of certain words, much less speaking it... With my teachers being lazy with the whole teaching part I have a lot of time to learn Na'vi with my friend Justina. LOL

And to edit my privious post which had quite a few errors: oel fayli'ut tse'ayeia slayu li'u aleNa'vi. looking back it was a but dumb how i put it but also makes sense, tì is a prefix that converts a verb to a noun, the verb being kin which means "to need". the sentence says "I in need of up to now" soo i might need a "lu" in there to say "I am in need"

LOL be wry of sentence structure, you're putting Na'vi sentences in English format. Each language has a format, kinda like English is noun, prep or verb adj, etc. Na'vi sets it sentences up when in English would sound like ' For this moron apology make?' or in English format; "I apologize for this moron."

could someone please help me learn? i cant afford to see movie again. so could Daimon_Cerberus or XionGrey plz help or someone who atleast knows the basics i know eyes are nadi, formal is skepiclu. thats it. oh and maway is calm.
