My sister didn't know that they were brothers either. She just thought that since they sounded so "harsh" (psh, whatever) that they used Van Halen to make them sound evil.
I have to admit that Van Halen is actually a cool last name.

Jimmy5150 A lot of people who don't know much about Van Halen don't even know that there are brothers in the band. They all just think "Van Halen" is just one guy, referring to Ed, even though the band is named after them (originally suggested by Roth). Yeah, I didn't think they were brothers for a while either. Then one day my Mom said they were brothers and I thought that was just plain awesome.
