Seth looks down at the small child. He sees the innocents of a heartbreak. He holds her close, her head against his chest, Though of he does not know why he's doing it, but he feels as though he wants to. He strokes her head as they lean back into the water, it rushes past them. his eyes shout he strokes her head with a wet hand. "Love you." he answers her.
A small wolf boy, Running through the forest, a basket of berries and edible leaves he found, He's running from the sound of Tech soldiers in the area. His heart hitting his chest. His body shaking. He trips over an out grown tree route, the bowl spills everywhere, He tries to pick them up as fast as he can, but a red beam of light shoots and misses him. He forgets the bowl and runs scared. Crying not wanting to die, at the edge of the river, He runs and runs, but he slips on a mud bank falling into the water, He's carried down stream panicking, flailing his little arms, with whines and cries. He cannot swim.

She calms at last, feeling safe in the arms of this stranger. She knows not why, nor does she care. It's a feeling of safety, contentment. She feels like she's known him forever yet, she doesn't know him other then his name, and the fact that he helped her. She holds onto him, letting the water cool and calm her, and letting herself feel free.
The water lifts a lot of the dirt on her outer fur, and Seth can see many more infections that were beneath the dirt and grime, blood is caked to her skin, and she looks quite damaged, there was no doubt that after their little wash, she would be in great need of a doctor.
The girl on the branch, Nina by name, sees the child coming down the river, she switches her position, holding onto the branch with her legs quite tightly. She didn't want to fall in to the river with a boy who couldn't swim, it normally meant the death of both people in a situation.
She reaches down and catches his hands which just happened to be above the water at that point, as the water went wishing down the river. She pulled him up so his head was above water, now a little stuck herself. Her body was frail, it was all she could do to keep the boy's head above the water as she hung there upside-down. She kept a calm face, and looked down on him to assess whether or not the boy would require her help any further. If he did she would need to come up with a better plan, if not, maybe he would be able to swing himself up to the branch with her help.

Seth scrubs her head, trying to loosing the dirt and grime with his nails. He feels it in his nails as he has to scratch at the dirt underneath. He tries to get her skin, lifting it up. Its not much of what he can do, but its the best he can do for now. He, holding her takes her out of the river. They shake and dry off. "You alright now? well..for the most part?" He asks carefully, walking down the path.
The little pup looks up at the girl...his eyes filled with fear, but he gives a swing and lands on the side of the river. Panting as his body shakes. His breathing is heavy, He looks back up at the girl. Wondering if she can make it herself. "H-hey! It-..its dangerous!" he says giving a whine.

"I'm fine." the girl says gently. She didn't want to cry for him again. She liked him too much and didn't want to bother him with something like that. She wanted to be a strong kid, but the pain from the infections was bothering her, plus he ended up scrubbing loose scabs which weren't healed in the least, causing her to bleed. However the child remained quiet waiting.
"Where are we going?" she asks watching the path and each step he took, watching his feet until the rhythmic motion made her dizzy and she had to lean her head on his shoulder as they walked. It was actually starting to put her to sleep, and she very much wanted the rest, though she fought it to be with the male.
She swung there a little, looking up at the branch, she reached as she swung her body back and forth trying to catch the branch with her hands before he legs slipped, as they were slipping. She knew she could swim if she needed to, but she didn't want to if she didn't have to, plus that would get the only dress she had soaking wet, and that was never good. Home was miles from here and that would be a long walk in wet clothing, not to mention the breeze would make it cold fast as it was only spring time, and water could be a bit nippy in this area, though it grew warmer as it went south.
At long last she caught the branch and pulled herself up onto the tree before climbing down over to the boy, she looked worried about him, "Are you ok? do you live far from here? What's your name?" she was a little hyper, not pausing for a breath before she got her questions out. She took a deep breath when she was done looking over the male, worried about him.

Seth stays quiet as he holds her. Rubbing her back as they walk. They continue down the winding trail. He hums a few bars, of a soft soothing sound. "Just to a nearby town with folk like us. No worries." he gives a pleasing smile.
In Seth's mind he wonders about the girl. How can something with this many bruises, infections and disgusting filth around her, Still be alive in this kind of environment, He doesn't know where she came from, yet he saved her from the assault of the tech soldiers.
"I..uh...I...uh...I..." he gulps backing a little away from her. He was still in fear. Fear of being with someone right after that, even if it was who saved him. "I um..I'm Leon, my names Leon, and ..my..um...Cover...is...about...long up-ways...and...ye-yeah..I'm fine." he coughs. She can tell he's a very nervous child.

The child's eye lids begin to droop, she couldn't fight the urge to sleep any longer, and fell into a gentle sleep, her hand on his chest, twisted in his shirt collar, of which she was playing.
The path they walked along was very peaceful as well as solider free. A few birds twittered in the treetops, singing their own little tune. The town was visible just up ahead. A doctor was walking the path into one of the homes on the edge of the little town.
"Calm down." she said softly and came over to him. She put a hand on his shoulder and smiled. She looked so much like a human at the moment, the only thing that was different then a human was her wolf ears which were under a light blue hat, but it made it that much scarier for the small child named Leon, "My name is Nina." Her eyes are soft and she gives a motherly appearance even though she can't be any older then he.
"Why don't we go back? I'm sure your mommy and daddy are really worried about you, and you look a little too shaken to be staying here... I'll go with you." she smiled at him. "Just lead the way"

Seth holds onto Lunix as close as he could as he runs towards the doctor. He tries to get to the House before the door closes. "Hey Hey!" He calls to the doctor. "Think you can do one more patient?" he asks almost out of breath.
Leon still scared, his fur shaking, nods, the child is still rather nervous. "N-n-n-nina...Is...a nice name..." He says stuttering. His body is cold from the water, trying to find the right path to the hidden home in the forest where his mother resided. "Wh-wh-where is s-s-she?" he has that look of lost and hopelessness, almost forgetting where he lives.

The doctor turns around, his name is doctor Zoff, "What?" he turns around and sees the male with the child, "Yes, I can take one more patient... bring her inside." he smiled.
The child slept so innocently in Seth's arms, feeling protected.
She puts her arms around him, there was a gentle heat from her body as she walked with him upstream, trying to find clues as to where he was before he was swept away by the river. "Its ok, we'll find her don't worry."

Seth follows the doctor in, Holding Lunix close to him. "...I'm sorry to have brought this so sudden." Seth apologizes. "I really hope its no burden at all...I mean..." The tall male unable to find the correct words to his jumbled tiredness.
Leon looked around the forest and tree's trying to find his clues of home...but what the female noticed was that when he ever so glimpsed at the river, he started taking a few steps away from it. Still shaken. Not saying much of anything. "...." At long last they find a grove of leaves he sways them to the side, showing a hidden cave. "Momma!"

"Right right, step this way..." he said, and took the child from him, the male soon found himself laying on the couch, "You sleep, I'll take care of the dear child." he said, and went back to his door, closing and locking it tightly.
He walked up the stairs and drew a bath and gently took the large shirt off the child. He whispered in her ear trying to get her awake, "Little one... little one wake up." He shook her gently, and the child opened her eyes slowly as he set her down in the tub, the warm water was up to her chest. "What's your name little one?"
"I'm Lunix." the small child said.
Zoff gently started cleaning her off, "It might hurt a little bit...." He said scrubbing everything off of her with a nice scrubbrush that would gently remove all signs of dirt and blood. He got right down to her very skin sighing as the child cried in his arms. It was hurting her, he could tell, but it had to be done. She was all clean now, and held her in a soft towel. He now rocked her to sleep, she didn't need to be up for the rest of it.
The child walked in with Leon, happy to have been able to help. She went over to his sleeping mother and put a hand on her having the feeling that the woman was sickly.

Seth lays on the couch, wondering and waiting. He's unsure of the doctor, but what other choice did he have. Hearing Lunix scream like that, he clenches the couch, trying not to make his claws dig into the fabric...a sigh of relief befalls when it goes quiet...still worried. Seth couldn't get to sleep.
Leon trots his way over to his mother. "Momma..momma I'm home." his voice has ceased shaking. "Momma?...momma wake up.."

It isn't long befor the pup is laid on his chest, she's nothing but bandages and ointment, "she'll have to remain here for a few days... I can't do a full study until tomorrow morning, its much too late at the moment," he wispered gently to seth. He stood up from his stoop, and started up the stairs, "Make yourself comfy, I'll be down in the morning." He said with a smile.
Nina closed her eyes and put her hands on the larger woman. She started wispering something that even she didn't understand. Both women began to glow, and Leon's mother was given a life force that was much stronger then the one that was about to give out on her.
Once she was done Nina scooted off to the corner and curled up into a ball. She was panting hard, but was able to make it into something soft. Leon couldn't see her in the shadows as she turned into a wolf because her human energy was used up. She at least managed to turn into her half breed form so that she was able to at least appear like she belonged there. She merely hoped she saved the woman.

"Um..Alright, Thank you doctor." Seth smiles holding Lunix close to him. He grabs a blanket off the top of the couch, and covered them up. "...I hope you can fix everything..."
Leon confused looks at his mom who stays still for the night...He looks over at Nina and thinks she disappeared...The glow kinda made him feel woozy,...he falls to his knees and lays next to his mom...he puts his little arm around her, his paw on her tummy, shutting his eyes,...he gives a soft sound...of a whine...his eyes shut now...he drifts asleep...

He smiled and went to bed for the first time in many days.
The small child slept easily on Seth's chest.
Nina remained hidden, she didn't want to be found, not until mother and child had their time.
