 "It's about time."
Takashi said when Kazumei arrived in the district. He was waiting all day for him, especially Asha who probably looked over the entire district. Once Kazumei approached, Takashi slapped him on the shoulder with a smile and dropped the letter in his palms. There was no time for Takashi to read it since Xaoh had sort of handed it to him as if it were a hot potato before leaving in a hurry. Still even if he had time to read it he wouldn't have because of the fact that some documents should only be read by those who they were written to.
"Xaoh asked me to give you this. I think it's from Atraeyu."

Once he received the letter from Takashi, he immediately skimmed through the message. Apparently the Otokage had grown arrogant with his position overtime. It happened with many newly appointed kages that weren't ready for the power and responsibility. Messing with the Flame was something he would regret in all of his days to come. The man barely established himself over his own shinobi so to attempt at even glancing at the Flame the wrong way was out of the question for kage of his status. This would only stimulate the councils plans to destroying the village to reduce the competition in the area.
"Takashi and Asha, we're heading to the Valley of the End. Every shinobi here will stay on guard to cover the village in case of an attack. Let's go."
He rolled up the parchment before slipping it into his jacket pockets. With that they were set. His weapon was in place behind his lower waist and he had been fully equipped for the mission. He could only hope that Takashi and Asha were the same, as they didn't have anytime to spare for last minute grabs. When all seemed ready, Kazumei would lead the two of them to their destination.

The minute Kazumei arrived a sudden surge of happiness filled her entire being and washed away any signs of unhappiness that she once had because of his absence. But there were more important things to deal with now. They had a mission on their hands. When Kazumei told them what they had to do Asha began following behind him. There was no need for him to worry about her equipment. She had always been fully equipped with the necessities for battle at all times, of course every Ashitaka did. But maybe it was another way of him testing them to see if they were slacking. Either way she was perfectly equipped and fit for battle. "Alright, let's go." She said seriously, her mood now taking a new direction."((exit))

Takashi nodded in agreement. It was time to destroy these fools who foolishly thought they could mess with the likes of the flame. The Flame Lord must have been pretty excited for this mission to say that he didn't speak of going to the council before leaving. But then again the council had already planned on doing this from the start so this was this was in the agenda from the beginning. Standing straight, he began wrapping the turbans tightly around his wrists until they were rock hard. His Ashitaka blood was running fiercely through his veins in anticipation for the fight.
"Let's do this."
He said leaving the area with Kazumei and Asha.-exit-

The entry way to the Ashitaka District only showed what Rengoru had remembered redish tint and a fierce glow to it. Rengoru walked with his hood on and hand bandaged. He strolled the city aimlessly and found himself to the square where there was a lot of people and asked around for Kazumei in the district as he hunted for the whereabouts.

Entering the Ashitaka District, Takashi unstrapped his bow from around his back. He was a bit relieved to come back home. The smell of baked ground and hot food filled the air. But there was something else that caught his attention. A man was limping through the district. It was obvious that the man wasn't of Ashitaka blood. By the time he moved in closer, he noticed that it was no other than Rengoru. The guy was so bent out of shape that Takashi had barely recognized him. Takashi walked behind him and kept a close eye on him. He had no idea where the guy thought he was headed so he had to see for himself. For all he know, the guy had just came from a huge battle and was making his way towards the Ashitaka elders. Wherever it was, there was no way he would make it without fainting from those injuries. Takashi walked behind the man and grabbed his left shoulder before yanking him around.
"Don't know where you think you're headed, but you could use a hospital."
He said still holding the man's left shoulder.

Rengoru stopped at the touch of someone attempting to shake him as he shrugged from the grip of his left shoulder. He turned to look at him, "Im looking for information on kazumei. You seen him around?". Or this elder ashitaka council you know where it is? Someone told me about it earlier and its very important.", asked Rengoru standing with his eyes fixed on Takashi as he asked for help.

A man with long spiky light gray hair would appear in the district not far from where Takashi and Rengoru stood. The man's eyes radiated a deep fiery orange and on his chest was a crossed shaped scar that etched out towards his lower ribs. It could be easily shown that this elder Ashitaka had seen his share of battle. Behind him, the man held something from behind. Judging by the shape alone, it was obvious that it was a bandaged arm that he held. The true question was, what was the elder doing roaming the district carrying such a thing. Glancing at Rengoru's missing arm, he immediately recognized the kid. Before saying anything, he would let out a small annoyed sigh.
"As you may already know, I am one of the elders of the great Ashitaka council. I'll get straight to the point, as I have matters to attend to my fellow council members. Only powerful warriors wield the kekkei genkai of the Ashitaka. You will need to show us that you are capable of wielding such power. In other words, you will need to prove yourself in battle without the influence of it."
The man would walk up to Rengoru and remove take a luck at the shoulder nub where Kazumei had sliced the arm off. From there he would attach the missing end with the end of the bandaged arm he held behind him before injecting enhanced fire chakra into the severed end.
"Reiki Shizui. The Jade Flame. Flame of Rejuvenation."
Suddenly green flames would burn deep into the wound, causing the severed arteries and woulds to be reconnected into the new arm. The green flames would crawl onto various other wounds on the man's body before mending them in place. With each wound the green flames burned their healing power into, a scar would be left behind to remind him of what happened. Once the bandaged arm was connected, the Ashitaka elder would pat the boy on the shoulders before dusting his hands off.
"There. Let me remind you that this arm is a temporary replacement and it isn't the original you sought for. It should prove just as useful, only without the influence of our bloodline techniques. You will accompany your fellow shinobi on their current mission. It is during that particular mission where you will come face to face with your final trial."

Rengoru was speechless to see the arm that elder held but the point was clear. That he was straight to the point and had an agenda to bring me a bandage arm. The post pain of the burning of the arm was inevitable as he held his arm. "The feeling and grip was totally diffrent. But...thank you", said Rengoru as he understood the situation with those little words that rung through Rengoru's head. "A replacement is better than none at all",thought Rengoru as he flexed his arm. His thought and knowledge of this mission was still not understood and trained punching and doing handsigns for a while he got a feel of the arm and strength. "wait! Where do I meet the shinobi to do the mission. If the mission is important like you say the flame village is the main concern", asked Rengoru as he took the bandages from around his body and arm.

The Ashitaka Elder would let out a small chuckle. Rengoru had entirely missed the point of what he was saying. At the same time he would allow the boy freedom to think whatever thoughts that passed through his mind. The winds would pick up, causing the elder's light gray hair to flap to the side. The man's fiery eyes would deepen as he glanced down at Rengoru. Little did he know was that this mission could cost him everything. He had the opportunity to leave the arm behind and return to his ordinary life as a normal shinobi. It would probably be his last chance at releasing this burden, however the boy still pushed forward in order to gain back what he once wielded.
"You interest me boy. Either you're too dumb to realize what you're about to get yourself into or you're incredibly brave. I'll let the fate of the mission decide which one is it."
He said turning around and heading back towards the Council of Elders. Before passing up Takashi, he would pat the boy before leaving him with a stern and proud nod. He was proud of each of the new generation of Ashitaka coming up. Each of them held of spark of fire within all of them.

Rengoru's intensity lit as he watch the pride of the Ashitaka in the elder councilmen's eyes as they glowed ominously toward the younger Ashitaka. Rengoru watched as the elder disappeared in the distance and turned his head to the sky. He balled his hand to a fist to show the strength of the arm as he looked down. "I am no weakling and no guppy to the ninja world. I am going to take this mission down, just like my father and his missions", thought Rengoru as he went on walking with the hood pulled over his head as he brushed his hair down. "This is where I prove myself to all the clans and villages towards my individuality as a shinobi of the flame village. That arm was attached to me not vise versa this is where my skills i've honed appear." He ran and disappeared in the distance to train.

Once the meeting of the Ashitaka elders was concluded, Kazumei made his way into the streets of the Ashtiaka district where he would meditate on the day's passing events. Something was approaching in the shinobi world. This munch was already known, however there were a few minor things that needed to be taken care before attacking the bigger problems. Besides he still needed to speak to the council of the flame before proceeding to such large scale matters, so he had time. Every once in a while he would bump into a fellow clansmen which he would exchange nods with every so often, most of them who were males. Most Ashitaka were stern this way by nature, especially when one held a mutual respect for another. However their pride was one of the most noticeable things about them. They respected the Agnikage, and they respected those that came before them. However they bowed before no one. It was just in their nature, and each one of them expressed it in their own way. Pocketing his hands, Kazumei had reached the exit of the district where he would eventually make his way towards the western section of the Flame Village.
