The only other game I could think of that Europe has that North America would love to have is Terranigma on the SNES ... and it's a really cool game too. ;-;

@Hoa Dao - Terranigma is an amazing game! I wish to see something like it in the future. Very interesting storyline, and a nice plot-twist.
As for Eternia, I haven't played the PS version either, but I'm hoping to get the PSP one pretty soon. From what I've seen in the Narikiri Dungeon series, the characters are also quite unique in this game. Personally, I liked everyone equally, but if I had to choose, I'd pick Fog for his strange personality, weird voice, and of course, ELEMENTAL MASTER. wink Sure, it takes a while to charge, but once it's ready, it's over for the enemy. I mean seriously! Those elemental blasts are powerful, but what really finishes them off is that HUGE laser beam that he fires after that.
WHERE ON EARTH DID HE GET SUCH A GUN!!? I've got to get me one of those, along with that elevating platform thing of his sometime.

I don't think such weapons exist in real life. ^-^;; Unless you want replicas so you can cosplay ninja
I lost a lot of Gald to get his weapons. >.<;; And then there's the Canceller, in which I was unable to get because I couldn't find all the sites his wife hangs around. xD (I don't even know how she gets to Inferia. xD)

Energy guns that fire all the elementals along with the elements of light and darkness within' the soul fall officially into the category of "fictional". xp

I like this game. In fact, it's the only Tales of game I've played, but Phantasia for GBA is coming out soon so I'm going to buy that. I like Meredy best. I have Tales of Eternia for my PSP.

I'm getting so lost reading everyone's posts. I own Tales of Destiny II but it's for Playstation and I know that Eternia and ToDII are the same thing so that's what everyone's talking about right? confused Anyway, I may be a loner on this but I absolutely loved the game. I like the voices for everyone too. I just thought it was really well done compared to some other games I've played from that time period. I think FFVII came out around that time and comparing graphics and stuff ToDII surpassed FFVII greatly.

Namco of Japan made a neato game called . Namco of America released it as to tie it in to the first Tales of Destiny in hopes of better sales. A few years later NoJ released , the true sequel to Tales of Destiny, and NoA gave a resounding "OH ********!".

Actually, NoA released it as Destiny II because if they kept Eternia, it would look like copy-write infringement, because at the time a toy company was using the name. Atleast, that's what I've pieced together.

Where did you guys get "NoA" out of this?
Last time I checked, Playstation was a SONY system, not a Nintendo one.
