Jonathan allowed himself a smirk as he mixed answers with gunshots, each bullet finding a new and squishy home. "I'm being paid and that is usually enough for me. I would ask what a holy man is doing here but I feel that is a bit obvious. Somewhere between preaching to the masses and Heaven works in mysterious ways, I take it?"

There was a bit of sass to his tone though he didn't mean disrespect, at least not much. He kept an eye on the pale riddler while he conversed with the padre, making sure to be ready if the loon snapped or otherwise required a fiery bullet response.

Adam walked out of the shadows.

"Black Bone is an angry dead
He raises and crunches all in his way.
I'm here to collect his head
If we don't stop him it's Hell to pay."

He drew of his Margolin Special and adjusted the straps of his wooden cross to his back and eyed the mercenary.

"Alone, Black Bone you can't beat
No matter how strong you are your meat she will eat."

"By gods, that's horrible," the dragon muttered, ears twitching downwards as she sipped on the contents of her tin mug. A jug magicked to contain an unending supply of the same sat nearby on one of the chapel steps.

She cast a bemused glance at the nearby dwellings, hoping the occupants therein took the sound of distant gunfire and other ominous sounds as a hint to stay inside. She relaxed after a few moments, closing her eyes and extending her other senses.

It didn't take long to notice it. A flow of energy, being pulled up and into the nearby mountain, like a reverse deluge. A good portion came from the dense woods to the west and south of them, moving in unseen creeks and rivers through the town in it's way, untamed power that fed life and magic alike.

Kalaris arched a brow, looking up towards the mountain peaks. "Oooh.. well, that makes a little more sense."

Rayne laughs at the thought of an actual challenge. "Something bigger and tougher than these weaklings? A challenge I will gladly accept."

He looks down at the cross wrapped around his arm, the silver glowing in the night. He flexes his arm to let the tiny blades on the chain slice into it allowing his blood to flow down the chains towards the cross. "Well if we are to dance in Hell tonight then the Padre should know your names, no?"

"Heh, you can call me Jonathan, padre..."

The gunfighter scowled and raised an eyebrow as the party seemed to be coming from the mountain or at least seemed to with everybody else in town looking towards it like the exploding New Year from a distant land. Yes it was intimidating and special and yes they could all feel it.

Of course the woman was too busy being mystical and talking to herself to be of any use so Jonathan figured he might as well ask. If his own truth didn't run deeper, he wouldn't have even heard her but he could and the lack of information was actually annoying.

Mr. Molotov put away Burning Arrogance for its bigger and silver plated brother. He also wasn't fond of his current position then he saw a better idea. With a sigh, he made around to the back of the General Store and then on top of it in the blink of an eye. Amazing what you could do as a hidden god when you weren't being watched. This endeavor would also require something besides a pistol and he didn't have time for complex reality weaving. So with a cursory look around, he reached into his coat and pulled a lever action rifle. It didn't have his usual elegant flair but it would work and the range was great. Unfortunately he didn't have time to imbue it so it would only exist for a couple hours. By that time, he suspected it would be down to his signature pistols anyway.

Now if only this horrible, magically delicious big thing would show up already...

Adam made is widest grin.
"Then to death we shall march
And I will guide you both down the track
No matter if the task is arch!
So swears Adam Black."

Adam dragged his feet towards the south area of the cemetery leading the way to Black Bone's secret Tomb.

"I wish we were at least four.
Since times yore,
three is a number ill.
I hope we have, at least, enough strength of will."
