Ffffff neutral Well, it's never okay to post in misplaced threads...ever. It's considered spam and can result in a warning for spam. I do, however love when people report misplaced threads. It makes moderators so happy because it shines a spotlight on problem areas.

Kuchis Wizardly Business icetears Posting in misplaced threads instead of reporting them (or doing both). It makes me super sad when I move the thread and there's spam all over it. Also, spoons CAN be useful, but the GCD doesn't seem to recognize when they're necessary. 
HEY! HEY! HEY KUCHI!There was actually a thread where people asked if they posted in misplaced threads. One of the replies was "TOTALLY. I love posting in them and getting the poster all riled up and starting a few fights" <-by a prominent GCDer. This is, as ily put it, WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.
Also, HCDers don't know how to use spoons. Even the thread you posted got barely any responses, when everyone should be reading it

I have only gotten a warning for posting a misplaced thread, because it contained too much of an anecdote ;__; I'm pretty sure it was the first thread I had ever made in the GCD.

It was a thread attempting to talk about the best donations you've ever received, because, coming from the GD, I wasn't used to people being as generous as they are in the GCD. Someone had donated bani clips to me after I had my questbar in my signature for about an hour. No joke.
But I just re-read it, and DAMN WHAT AN ANECDOTE.
