Tim smiled and kissed her on the cheek before doing a back flip and landing out the door "come on, more room to fight out here" he said pulling his second kukri, but there was something hidden in the palm of his hand

Tim slipped just inside the blade thrust and set one of his kukri under Vales wrist, his free hand still held another of his small glass balls loosely between his pinky and palm

Edge silently watched Vale and Tim fight. They're both fine fighters. He thought, smiling. He stood, waiting for Tim's next move.

Tim smiled, he was enjoying himself more in this fight than he had for a long time, he held perfectly still looking for a way out of this situation until the idea struck him "do you know what a Mexican standoff is?" he asked "it's when the two people standing off are both going to lose" he continued rolling the small glass ball between his fingers "I've got about four ounces of Thermite here, it may not be a lot, but if I were to light it off it would be hot enough to melt every ounce of steel we're carrying, probably even burn a blood demon to death, but if I do that I die too, and if you cut my throat I'll still be around long enough to blow this stuff up" he was bluffing, the tiny orb was just copper sulfate, no hotter than a regular fire although much more impressive

Tim smiled "you're right" he said smiling "but I'm not as small as you seem to think I am" he said touching his thumb to each of his fingers on his left hand, each time a thread of energy moved from that finger to the center of his palm, fire energy, he wrapped his fingers around what appeared to be nothing until he used his darkness powers to bath himself in it, in the dark the fire could be seen, it was just barely visible but it was amazingly hot, if they'd been in an enclosed space it would feel like an oven right about now, it looked like the thruster on a jet engine and he pointed it in Vales direction, finally letting the small ball fall into his palm, as soon as the copper sulfate was released the stream of fire turned bright green

Tim smiled reaching into his bag and pulled out a large red cylinder with a hose on it, he considered spraying it but instead he tossed it at the blood demon and shot a small fire ball right through it, covering the blood demon in pearl ash (potassium carbonate, it's used in fire extinguishers) (yeah, this guy's a pyro, in case you couldn't tell yet)

"done playing" he said "if you get injured it's not my fault" he added smiling
Tim drew his Kukri's and started sprinting at Derioth holding them with an icepick grip
(kukri are designed to slit throats, I haven't really been using them properly)

Tim remembered what Vale had done, he'd never seen that before but he wondered if he could mimic it, he started gathering energy, all the warmth was getting sucked out of the area, a thin layer of frost covering the grass, but warmth started surrounding him, amazing heat, "come here phantom" he said trying to hold in the energy
