His purr restarted at the feel of her body next to him. "Good. I would hate it if you hadn't have wanted to have puppies with me." He nudged her playfully with his muzzle.

Aroura smiled too. "Mm I love that purr of yours, I'm happy its back" She wagged her tail and rubbed her belly with her paw. "Puppies.."

He placed his paw beside hers, smiling softly. "Puppies indeed." His purr got a little louder, his grin widening.

"Oh no.. we'll have to make our den bigger.. we don't have enough room in here for a full litter of pups.." She looked back and forth really worried.

He nodded. "I'll get to work on it, then. A bit of burrowing every day should have us ready soon, don't you think?" With a nuzzle to her head, his eyes were confident, ready to handle anything he had to. "Don't worry. We will make it through."

With an assured nod, and pressed his muzzle to her. "Yes. I'll just have to work harder. We'll have this done within a matter of days." But he stood. "I have to start working now, though."

She whined at him. "Don't tire yourself out or get yourself hurt" She looked at him very worried.

He nuzzled her again, looking at her with a semi-patronizing look. "Big strong male, about to be a father. Getting tired won't be bad, and if I hurt myself, I'm not fit to be your mate." He licked her softly, smiling. "You're my beautiful mate, from now until forever. I won't have a problem digging our home a little deeper. Our babies will have plenty of room. So lie down outside the den, and just watch your man get to work."

Aroura smiled and licked back. "Well alright then...If you say so I guess.." She blushed when he told her she was beautiful. She slowly got up and moved outside and watched him still very worried. "Be careful.."

"I will. Digging a den isn't too bad, I promise." He went inside, and next thing there was dirt piling up. Within a couple of hours, he had added a birthing room for her, which would become the place the pups slept as they got older. His was filthy, his purple fur turned brown.

Aroura had gotten dirt all over her too. From when teh wind picked up and the pile he left blown some ontop of her. She sneezed and started laughing at him. "You should probably take a bath, you dont' even look like the same hollow anymore" She didn't even notice that she was covered in dirt too.

Flopping down on the ground, his libs fully extended, he grunted a little. "Too tired to get a bath. I might just drown. But the job is done. I won't have to worry about our puppies not having a safe place to sleep." He shook a little, the dirt not letting go.

Aroura's ears folded down and she pawed at his side lightly. "I told you not to overwork yourself... what am i going to do with you.." She licked the top of his head. She layed next to him and put her muzzle ontop of his side.
