 Adele jumped slightly at the touch on her hand and looked back at Mitch. "I um...sure?" She stammered somewhat uncertainly. This person looked nice and like someone she could trust, but she was afraid to do so. This person was so beautiful and looked feminine, but she wasn't for sure just yet. "I'm...Adele." She said softly.

"You can call me Mitch." Mitch gave her a smile, taking her hand. "I'm new to this school so I'm not to sure where everything is, but it's nicer walking around school with someone then walking alone isn't it?" This was actually a bit of self serving, sure Mitch wanted to help the beautiful looking girl but it also was nice to get away from Alex. He was nice but Mitch never trusted it when a guy said, 'I'm interested in you', to many times Mitch had fallen for that and it wasn't going to work again.

Adele seemed to cool down a bit and become more comfortable. She even managed to give Mitch a small smile. "Yeah, it is." She said softly and let Mitch lead her around. It would be a lot easier than meandering around aimlessly in circles or getting lost. "Are you a first year as well?"

"Technically I'm a second year, but it's my first year here. I had some... issues." Mitch said giving her a weak smile, "But let's not talk about me, what about you? Is there a specific reason you came to this school?" Mitch could see she was a bit shy, so having her open up would be good, and with it only being the two of them it would make it easier on her.

"Oh...I was or am a ward of the state. They sent me here because they didn't want to deal with sending me to multiple homes." That pretty much summed it all up. She didn't go into too much detail about it because it was weird to talk about not having a family or even a last name. "So, if you're a second year maybe we'll have English together? I already passed the first year English classes last year at my high school."
((I'm sorry I have to go! It's 10 where I live and school is tomorrow. Talk to you tomorrow!))

"That would be nice." Mitch said, leading her around "It's always easier the first day of class when you know someone." They continued to walk around until they were at the dorms and Mitch handed her the room number. "If you ever need someone to talk to, just come down." Mitch smiled, putting it in her hand. "I'll talk to you later." Mitch walked back towards the commons, not sure if it really was a good thing to return. Mitch wasn't sure if facing Alex was.... something Mitch wanted to do.

Finally Mitch returned to the commons, giving the two boys a smile, "I didn't think it was appropriate to let such a fragile girl walk around by herself." Mitch sat down, leaning against the chair once again. "Hm, class is going to be interesting."

"True that. Well i'm heading back to the dorms. I need to grab a few things before class starts. seeyah." He got up from the chair and left the commons.

"Bye Jericho, I'll see you later." With that it was once again just Mitch and Alex. This wasn't really the situation that Mitch wanted to be in, but hey, let's see how things turn out. "So... Alex?" Mitch said, looking at him, "Have you been around the school yet?"

"Yea, a few thousand times. I used to live in this place before it was changed into a school. This is the place I had grown up and died in, if you consider this a form of death anyways. If you want, I can show you some of the secrete corridors to help you get to class faster..."

Mitch smiled, "That would be nice. I prefer getting to class early, helps me get all my work done so I don't have to do it in my dorm." Mitch stretched, a few cracks coming from her back.
