User Image"For starters, you could clean that up." Almost as softly as the voice before it, a black gloved hand settled on the young woman's shoulder. Behind it, an equally black clothed arm led up to the quietly smirking face of a pale young man with calculating violet eyes. Naoya Lyden, Prince of the Upper Court gave a small tilt of his head in greeting, then with a small flourish, revealed the rapier that only moments before had been in the hands of Stella.

"I apologize for breaking your concentration Princess." For only a moment his opal eyes flicked over to the water that had previously occupied Stella's water bottle before returning to the woman's face.

"But it was unavoidable. You didn't even notice when I entered, is water truly so fascinating?" While talking, Naoya's attentions were focused not on the other being in the room, but on the rapier, which he had pulled from the sheath and was currently examining the faculty-imposed dulled edge.

"I must profess however, I was quite startled to find you here at such an early hour, I was under the impression that you were not a 'morning person' as it were." With a decisive -snap- the young man effortlessly slid the rapier back into the sheath and returned his expectant gaze to Stella.

(( D8 Oh god, I am so sorry it took so long and is so terrible. I really am out of practice it seems. ))

User Image At the familiar voice and light touch, Stella jerked away startled, whirling around to face the person who had surprised her. She had not expected anyone to be up, and her concentration was broken, the floating sphere of water that she had been maintaining splattered to the floor some of the water splashing onto her shoes. Holding back a curse, the Queen of the Court looked up from the puddle up in annoyance to the face of the speaker. Her gold green eyes met the violet gaze of her counterpart, Naoya Lyden, the King of the Court.

" Ah, Prince." Stella said smoothly, all trace of her earlier annoyance gone from her heart shaped face replaced by a look of slight amusement on her pixie like face. " Do you plan on giving me detention for dropping an empty bottle in your presence?"

Stella's green eyes noticed how when the dark haired boy talked to her, his eyes were not on her but on the gleaming weapon in his hand, the rapier she had been using for practice. He examined the delicate blade for a moment more before sliding it back into its sheath with a snap before turning his attention back to her. With a small smile that could charm birds from their nest but had no effect whatsoever on the boy before her she spoke.

" You were under the right impression Prince, I am in fact a night owl. But that aside, may I ask what you are doing up so early? I doubt it's to admire the dull weaponry in the training area. Or were you prehaps worried that hooligans would be up at this hour plotting some sort of prank that would break at least one school rule?"

As Stella spoke she waved her right hand motioning upwards and the puddle of water drifted lazily up into the air again to eye level, and with another small movement of her hand the water slithered through the air to the nearby drinking fountain and went down the drain. Though she had cleaned the mess up on the floor, her shoes and socks were damp. And she hated damp socks. Sighing, she ran her hand through her blue black locks again. She would have to go back to her dorm to get a new pair. Then returning her green gaze back on Naoya, she gave him another small cat like smile.

" You don't think water is fascinating Naoya?" Stella asked, purposely forgetting the taller boy's title to see if he'd react.

[Don't worry, I'm really awful too.]

User Image"Prince. And yes, as the Highest ranking member of the court, it is my duty to conduct regular patrols in order to maintain the discipline that Hinamori requires." Though he spoke with perfectly even, reasonable tones, the faintest hint of irritation could be found in Naoya's first word.

"Order has been degenerating as of late after all. I'm sure you have noticed the rising of a group known as the 'Black Knights' in the student body? After their blatant disregards for authority, I'm sure you would agree that it is only natural to investigate should you hear someone skulking about in the early hours of the morning." His expression unchanging, Naoya moved across the floor over to the weapons racks, replacing the rapier exactly where he had removed it from before. It was true, the quality of weapons here was atrocious. Granted, training youths in the more deadly arts was not a particularly well-funded curriculum in most schools, but after making an effort, one would think that there would be at least some weapons of finer quality. After all, how could one practice efficiently with a poor tool?

"What are your views on the matter Ms. Cromwell?" The dark-haired student asked almost lazily, his attentions were once again, not on his counterpart, but on the weapons. With a practiced hand, he would draw a weapon and examine it for a moment, before replacing it in disgust.

Trey released a heavy sigh as the blinding light of the mornings sun blared through her window. She growled as she sat up in her bed, looking around her dorm, containing barely nothing on the walls, the only indication that someone lived here was the pile of dirty clothes, and perhaps the contents of the bathroom.

She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes as she pushed herself practically to the limits to get out of bed. She forced herself to stand, and groggily she stumbled to the bathroom to ready herself for the day...

After she was finished with the rude awaking of a cold shower, it took too long to wait for the hot water to heat. She quickly dressed herself in her normal uniform, and down the halls she walked to meet with the rest of the student body.

"It's too early for this crap!" she exclaimed, almost throwing a fit and stomping her feet as she said it, she hated being awaken in the mornings, she could sleep for days if her body would let her. In a world that wasn't ridiculed by cliques and teachers. A world all her own.

User Image " I stand corrected." Stella said amiably chuckling softly when she deciphered irritation in Naoya's voice. For some reason, the young dark haired beauty enjoyed getting under the boy's skin, she found his dark imposing nature amusing even though she too was dark and imposing, well according to the student body anyway, they thought she was terrifying.

As Naoya spoke, she leaned down and picked up her empty bottle and after a quick scan around the room for a trash can, she located within throwing distance. Taking her chances she chucked the empty bottle in the recycling bins direction hoping she would be able to make it. Sadly she over shot it and the plastic container clattered to the ground. Shrugging, she made a mental note to pick it up later and turned her attention back to the Prince.

" Skulking? I wasn't skulking about." Stella said indignantly, putting one small hand on her hip, an insulted look on her face that quickly disappeared when Naoya called her 'Ms. Cromwell'. She disliked being called 'Ms." It reminded her too much of the hired help back home in London that would whisper nasty things about her behind her back.

" Princess." Stella corrected coolly, before answering the dark haired boy who once more focused on the weapons of the room and not on her, not that it really bothered her at all. " I'm not all that concerned about the Black Knights in all honesty, Prince. As of late, they haven't done anything that warrants our attention."

[ Yay! We can all be horrible together!]

Finally the feeble looking girl released a sound of frustration as she tugged her way through the halls. It was apparently to early for any of the other students to be up. The halls where as barren as a post Apocalyptic Desert. She ran her elegant fingers through the tangled wet mess of her brown hair, pulling out the knots that began to form.

Trey finally came to the Gym, it was early enough, no other students would be around to bother her as she ran laps around the Gym. She pushed through the doors, her foot accidentally kicking a plastic empty water bottle. She stopped moving and looked down at the now dented piece of trash, her facial expression giving a slight grimace at the sight, unaware of the two that where already occupying the room. So she picked up the bottle and placed it in the bin label for Plastics, turning back to the Gym's main floor, she froze, staring face to face with the Prince and Princess of the Court members... And this would be why I don't wake up early! Bad things happen!

Sighing softly a young black and red haired man strolled through the hallways. An unlit cigarette hung in his mouth. “Boring, it’s too boring here...” He muttered softly as he brought a finger up towards the tip of the cigarette. Within moments the cigarette was lit and he was puffing away on it. “Oh no, I hope the court doesn’t find out about this.” He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

Rounding the corner he stopped only moments before he slammed into the back of Naoya, the King of the Court. “Just my rotten luck...” He said under his breath as he took the cigarette out of his mouth. “Watch where you’re going ‘your highness’ don’t want you to get that that beautiful uniform all dirty and tarnished do you?” As he spoke he began to flick the ashes from his cigarette onto Naoya’s shoulder. “Ops, I guess I spoke too soon.”

Trey's eyes widen as she watched Su'aco walk into the room, she gritted her teeth, when ever the King of the Black Knights was in the room, it was never good for the Knights. And what he did next proved that. She watched as the Ashes of the Cigarette hit against the Prince's uniform, she bit her lip hard as, glad that the attention was taken off her for a moment, but of course the situation was not a good one.

"Su'aco can't you enter a room without causing trouble!?" she exclaimed loudly, she couldn't help herself, it wasn't in her nature to be quit.

User ImageBy pretending to raise a longsword and examine the crossguard, Naoya masked a small smile. There, now they were both even again, or rather... his eyes flicked up to Stella's reflection in the blade of the sword, he was ahead. Ms. Cromwell apparently disliked that title more than he disliked the absence of one. Useful information.

"Pray tell, what do you call it then when one is moving around in an unoccupied region of a large building during the early hours?" Experimentally he took a few slashes in the air with the longsword and turned to face Stella, a small smile lazily drifting across his features.

"No, I think skulking is the correct term, the connotations however are up to you." Again, he took a few experimental steps with the weapon, before pivoting to his left upon hearing a small -thumpk- from the direction of the gym entrance.

"Well speak of the devil. And how are you this morning Ms. Trey?" He murmured upon catching sight of a rather disheveled looking girl.

"Quite early for you to be up as well isn't it? I would-" A sudden impact from behind caused the Prince to stop mid sentence as he regained his balance, plunging the tip of the sword down into the mat in the process.

"First." Naoya softly said, turning to face the offender, his opal eyes darkening.

"Smoking on campus is strictly prohibited." A sudden gust of wind erupted from nowhere, whipping both the ashes from his shoulder and this cigarette in Su'aco's hand across the room.

"Second." Another burst of wind struck the Black King in the chest.

"I was stationary, you were moving, so it is your eyes not mine that are defective. And third." Naoya raised the sword in a ready position across his own chest.

"Were you not still supposed to be under monitoring due to the 'incident' last month? I doubt wandering around the gymnasium is permitted..." Naoya's eyes narrowed.

"If you were following the rules.

Gasping softly and in mock horror Su’aco blinked. “Incident, which incidents are you referring to my ‘lord’ I only remember that one misunderstanding. I still say I have no clue how that lower court member got out onto the flag pole... and without his clothes as well.” Sighing he brought his arms out wide and closed his eyes. “As for those burn marks on his back, maybe it was one of the other fire users in this school.”

Slowly he strode past the prince banging his shoulder into his hard as he did. “My eyes are not as defective as you claim them to be. You also owe me a new pack of cigarettes, to make up for the one you tossed away so carelessly.” Turning his head back towards Naoya he smiled softly. “After all, we are not all made of money.”

Stopping beside Trey, Su’aco smiled and crossed his arms over his chest. “My dear Queen, you know that is impossible for me to do. I can not enter a room and not cause trouble. To do so would go against my very nature. Besides, how often are all four of us in the same room together? This is more priceless than...” Stopping short he smiled and winked at Trey “Well, let us just not mention that one, after all I don’t want the court to get too much dirt on me.”

She growled as she watched the Prince address Su'aco. Placing the sword at the boys chest was obvious a threat against his life. Her blue eyes raged as she took a step closer to the two boys.

"Naoya stop being rediculas with your threat, you think you scare anyone? The only one you scare is yourself!" she snapped as she circled around Naoya so she would be beside Su'aco. She knew she was going to get it for not being polite and address the Prince as such, but he was disrespectful to her, and she believed respect was earned not given.

"Su'aco just get out of here before you end up getting kicked from School. " she spoke, not taking her eyes of the Prince as she slowly began to back up towards the door, at which Su'aco was obviously near. She then turned her back to the two Court members and made her way toward the exit, she couldn't stand to be around them a moment longer. The way they thought they where better then everyone else.

User Image He know's how to handle a blade. The dark haired young woman thought her arms crossed over her chest as she regarded Naoya. A delicate dark brow quirked upward as she observed the boy cutting through the air expertly with the longsword.

" I'd call it-" Stella's words cut off when she heard the tinkle of plastic coming from where she had thrown her trash. Turning around to face the noise she saw that Trey Kyo, the Queen of the Black Knights was standing there looking rumpled and quite surprised to see Naoya and her in the gymnasium so early in the morning. At the sight of the brunette, a cool impassive mask slid into place, one that most students at the school knew quite well.

" Good morning." Stella said to her opposite politely with no real warmth to her accented voice. Then the sound of impact and the dull thunk of steel sinking into the blue practice mat caused her to whirl around, the sound soon followed by the arrongant voice of the Black King Su'aco. Though Stella became Queen due to her grades and ability, she had no preference between the Court and the Black Knights. Except for some reason she just didn't like the King of the Black Knights at all, prehaps it had something to do with their opposing elements, but the young man just rubbed her the wrong way.

" You should watch your mouth Su'aco. Since trouble seems to follow you so, I wouldn't be attracting so much attention to myself if I were you." Stella said softly, her voice having as much warmth as a glacier, her intelligent green eyes locked on the long haired boy's face. As Trey moved to her King's side, so did Stella taking her place next to Naoya. Maybe it was the blatant disrespect he had for everyone, whatever the case she didn't like him.

Her exotic green eyes watched Trey back away and toward the exit where she waited for the long haired boy before flicking back to the Su'aco's face.

" You should follow your Queen's example, and listen to her warning as well, Mr.Chath." Stella mumured quietly to the boy.

User Image"Now now Ms. Kyo I'm hurt. Not once did I threaten anyone here. It's depressing that you think so lowly of me." Naoya murmured at the retreating figure, his eyes following her until she was out of sight and then returning to Su'aco.

"I do hope you're familiar with the levels of discipline at this school Mr. Chath." He said cooly, spinning the sword so that it's dull point pushed into the mat.

"If you are found to be guilty of any more accounts of assault or vandalism, then as Ms. Kyo said, you will have your admission here at Hinamori terminated."

Trey only grumbled as she waited by the door for Su'aco, her eyes pierced through the court members like daggers through a flame, running to the very core as she watched the blade that Naoya held toward Su'aco fall into the mat.

"So much for my morning jog. " she grumbled as she waited her eyes crossed. "Su'aco come on. He isn't worth your time. " she said bluntly as she picked up her bag full of books once more.

Laughing dryly Su’aco sighed and raised his hands in the air. “I was simply saying that there are other fire users you could be pointing the blame on. I am but one of many, you know this my ‘lord.’ But, I guess since you always seem to be around when I do wrong or it appears as if I am you must have a thing for me.” Stepping backwards slowly and gracefully Su’aco smiled. “I must say I am flattered you enjoy my company oh Prince but I do not play for that team. I hope my rejection of you has not hurt your pride too much.”

Turning to address Trey Su’aco smiled softly as he tossed his head backwards moving his hair out of his face. “Yes, I believe that is true my Queen.” He said softly as he winked at her. “I shall lead; I’ve got a job I believe we could assist each other with. That is if you don’t mind helping me.” Dipping into a bow he exited through the door he just arrived from. “May our next meeting be on better terms Princesses of the court.”

Once he was in the hall he sighed rather loudly and closed his eyes. “Stupid court members...” He muttered as he began to walk away from the gym. It was still too early for class. Turning back towards the door he leaned on the wall as he waited for Trey to emerge from within. “You’d better hurry Lady.” He said softly as he cracked his neck softly.
