Oddy turned around to watch him lower in the candycane, smiling once it was fully submerged. All of the liquid in the cauldron seemed to bubble a bit all at once, and suddenly the fire cooking beneath it went out in a rush. Oddy squealed excitedly and set her hands atop the rim, gazing deeply into the cauldron as slowly a baby's form appeared.
"Don't touch him yet! He's not quite done!" She smiled over her shoulder, noting that he was a pale, hazy figure, not quite finished yet. She returned to her work with the items, bustling about getting a bit of this and that before she even messed with the items again, themselves.

Jubilation was a bit surprised that the reaction was so quick and watched in awe as the murky solution that engulfed Hassan start to bubble. He stepped up behind Odyssey for a better look but could only glimpse a hazed figure.
"Ahhh..." Jubilation gave his usual surprised outburst, and refraned for reaching into the cauldron itself upon hearing Oddy's warning. He watched Oddy bustling around the room, "So that's him, huh?"

Absent mindedly looking over her shoulder, she gazed into the small, hazy, sleeping looking face of the small boy. She nodded her head, "Yeap! That's him!" She said halfheartedly, beginning to look for something that was apparently very important. She read through ingredients on the shelves, her hand holding her chin in the age old, "I'm thinking hard!" expression.
Squealing happily, she grabbed a small black bottle. Hastily, she walked back over to where she had the candies laid out and uncorked the bottle. A small stream of sweet smelling powder came down atop the candies, covering them in an almost invisable blanket. "Almost ready!" She called behind her, hoping that the man wasn't too impatient.
Getting in the drawer directly beneath where she laid out the candies, she took out a small piece of paper covered on one side by what looked like strange writing. Oddy faced the writing towards her and closed her eyes, lowering her head a bit so her blonde hair hid her face from view. Standing like this, a few words could be heard chanted by the girl before she opened her eyes and meaningfully laid the paper out atop the candies.
Two seconds passed with nothing happened before the paper suddenly disappeared in a flash of many, almost blinding colors. When it was over Oddy looked at the now brightly glowing candies with a look of absolute delight. "See? I just have ONE more thing to do now!" She grinned hugely at Jubilation as Humfrey rolled his eyes, "Get on with it then! I want that stupid Cauldron out of here. Along with the babe."

Jubilation watched all this with an increasingly puzzled expression on his face. Heck, he doesn't know what, in the name of hokey-pokey, is going on; he didn't even know if he was supposed to be standing there like a dummy. Maybe he out of help Oddy with the obviously magical-sparkly-incantation fulled-ritual, but he figured that he'd just be in the way.
So Jubilation sat back and gave Oddy full control of the operation, patiently waiting for that last 'One more thing'. All the while, he hoped that the good Humfrey Two wasn't too impatient today and won't just kick them out in the middle of the whole thing.

Oddy picked up the candies, and in walking over to the cauldron once more, she gently laid out the candies around Hassan in no paticular design. She took her hands out from around him, and waited expectantly.
The whole cauldron seemed to glow bright for a second, pulsing as though alive, and as all the light receeded, only Hassan was left glowing softly. He slowly stopped glowing, and he seemed to breathe deeply for the first time. First one of his little eyes opened, and then another, before he somewhat realized that he was awake, and had fully functioning lungs.
He started wailing, appartently very unhappy at the surroundings and the fact that he was obviously rather cold in his nakey-babyness. "Go ahead and get him. I'll go get a blanket to wrap him up in." She beamed happily, bouncing off to go get the item.

Jubilation stepped forward, rather eager to catch a glimpse of Hassan for the first time. See him clearly anyways. He was somewhat different than Jubilation had imagined him, especially the tuff of greenish-redish hair on his forhead. But that was to be expected, Hassan did of course come from a candycane.
Jubilation gently picked up Hassan with both hands and cooed to him, "Hawwo, wittle baby, hawwo, Hassan." Yes, Jubilation's baby talk still needed work, he'll be doing that in the future. So Jubilation stood in there, waiting for Odyssey to retrieve a blanket.
((He's so purdy! whee ))

Smiling sweetly, Odyssey brought back the small blue blanket, handing it to him as she gently ran her hand through his hair. "Aww! He's so adorable! I'm sure you'll be a wonderful daddy!" She said, giggling happily as she picked out the candies from within the cauldron, putting them back within Jubilation's bag.
"I don't think that they will taste very good anymore, but they're not really for eating, but rather so that you can have a little something from his awakening!" She walked over to them once more, taking the tiger plushie and dangling it infront of Hassan, cooing at him softly.

Hassan seemed to take an immediate liking of the little blue blanket, grasping it tightly with one hand and continuing to make baby sounds.
"Thanks so much for everything," Jubilation said to Odyssey, extending a hand as a sign of gratitude. He quickly tucked the bag of candy into his pocket. "He's so adorable," Jubilation can't help but remark again, smiling down at Hassan.

Oddy grinned, rather pleased with herself as she got another plastic bag and placed the normal toys within it, grasping his hand tightly with one hand, and handing the bag to him with the other. "I think he may need to be covered with the blanket before you go. It's a bit chilly out there, I think!" Oddy smiled, obviously rather pleased with herself.
"It's about darn time." Humfrey muttered, gazing from behind his book at the trio. Apparently he wasn't very pleased with the fact that they were still in "his" area of the shop.

Jubilation grinned as he accepted the bag of toys. "Yes, that's a good idea," he said as he drapped the blanket across Hassan's little body, covering half his face. Hassan blinked.
"I guess that's it for me here," Jubilation said as he headed out the door. "Sorry to disturb your work," he added to Humfrey Two.
