DRAKE MULLED over Creed's response. A pity, he was hoping for something perhaps a little more energetic. Maybe his expectations were too high but he really wanted to see some of that wild fire in the boy again. The way he had acted with no hesitation whatsoever and the confidence he had was truly delicious. Licking his lips, Drake took the moment to further examine his dear friend.

"Starving is nothin new to me, but hey, avoiding it might be a fun change for once, eh?" Ah. There was the slight spark again. What a fascinating sense of humour.

"Indeed. I'm rather enjoying this pallet of culinary expertise. It most definitely outclasses the weekly injections they give to silenced criminals." Drake chucked lightly before folding his fingers neatly in front of his mouth, attempting to hide his melodramatic gasp of horror. "Oh my, I've said too much."

He stood up gracefully, walking out to the other end of the car. There were perfectly logical reasons for him to turn his back to a potential, unstable enemy. For one, he had no intention of letting Creed have any hint his face might give to his true motives. Normally this wouldn't have been a problem for him, being very attune to even the most minute of expressions. It had been a long time however since he put that into practice. The excitement didn't help keep the silly grin from dancing on his face. For another, the waitress would be here soon and there was no way he was letting his prize slip away. After all, if the workers found out there was an uninvited guest here they would surely lock him up. Or at the very least, throw him back out the way he came.

Drake slipped behind the curtain that blocked the view of the door from the rest of the room. As expected, the lady who had come to serve them had already maneuvered her way into his car, making not even the slightest sound most would make when unlocking doors. He took a deep breath, clearing his mind to free his will.

"My, aren't you looking lovely today," Drake cooed. Taking a step forward, he whispered in her ear, "Now what is someone with such a delicious body doing serving food to old perverts?" He would have hoped that that was enough but apparently it wasn't. The waitress just laughed and pushed him away with a clean ladle.

"Nice try, lover boy," she said, brandishing her ladle like a sword. "Unfortunately for you, I'm already in a relationship." Drake rolled his eyes. He didn't even hear her.

Before she could protest he had her pinned against the wall, scream muffled by the weight of Drake's kiss. You are infatuated with me. Obsessed. He let his hands roam, toying with the hem of her dress for added effect. You are mine.

Drake emerged from behind the curtain not a moment too soon. Aside from his slightly tousled hair, he looked about the same as he did a minute ago.

"I hope you don't mind eel. Mr Officer rather enjoyed his seafood."

The waitress smiled politely, bowing once before setting the table with dishes she pulled from her cart. All the while her eyes never left Drake's body.

((I hope a novel post will persuade you to forgive me for my tardiness. I am sorry.))
Green eyes stared out into the passing countryside. The images flashed by, blurring and distorted. The landscape was picturesque, yet that wasn't the focus of the young adults attention. He was viewing a static scenery. His vision was of a great ballroom, illuminated by the radiant glow of hundreds of candles. The checkered tiles were buffed and shiny which reflected every ray of light. In the background, he could hear the sound of a perfect string ensemble. The chandelier above the floor was huge, gigantic in comparison to the tiny dancers who were busy waltzing. Since the guests were dressed in masks and fanciful attires, Demetrious could only assume the vision was of a French Masquerade.

'Earthlings were so strange in how they did things.' He thought, musingly to himself. 'It would seem that every action of their's was centered around reproduction.' The vision began to blur and slip away as the teen felt his energy levels begin to drain a bit to quickly. Withdrawn from his vision, Mr. Sage, as he was formally known, gazed at his surrondings. He mustn't have been out long. Upon entering a dillusion, everyone would lose sense of time; atleast one that encompassed all of the senses.

Taking in a deep breath, the teen exhaled in a long sigh.
"I must have been out longer then I originally thought." Demetrious commented, taking a glance down at his watch confirmed his theory. "I've only sixty minutes until reaching Wyonix." A knock at the door pulled Demetrious away from his wandering.

"Mr. Sage, I apologize for interrupting you." The voice was obviously masculine and was very polite. It sounded as if the man was tall, lanky, most like in his teens or early twenties. " Would you enjoy a meal? I have some Eel soup, a House Salad, some different Pasta's. What would you enjoy?" Batting the issue around in his head for a moment, he considered a few possibilities. The most alarming of them was getting sick. Due to his 'condition', there was an added risk to taking unordered food. Deciding against this possibility, he took the warning and drew his white face mask around his mouth and nose. A few years ago, Demetrious became very sick and passed out while doing a marine study for Aota. He was rushed to the hospital where it was confirmed that his body was beginning to weaken from the effects of unstable genes. After that event, he retreated from society and spread a rumor that he had a terminal illness and needed to remain home. From then on, he began wearing the white mask in public as a confirmation so that no one would pry. It made things easier this way, especially when he has his rogue visions.

Getting up, he pulled the black velvet curtian to one side and unlocked the door. The waiter was as he guessed a white male, tall, thin, and appeared to be about twenty years old. His bright blue eyes shone with admiration. Apparently, he must be a fan of his works.

"Fettucini Alfredo with a piece of garlic toast on the side if possible." Demetrious whispered through his white veil.

A brilliant smile burst across the adoloscent's face. "I have that with me actually." Stepping aside, Demetrious returned to his seat while he waited for his dinner to be presented. The waiter entered the cabin and pressed a button so that a table descended from the ceiling. Laying out a wide arrange of culinary utensils, the waiter placed every instrument in it's correct position and in perfect alignment. It seemed he had some experiance doing this. His work was fast and amazingly precise. With a bow, he turned and made his way to the door and curtian.

"If you ever need any help, simply press the button and I shall be here momentarily." As if to demonstrate, he pressed the button and lifted his other hand up; revealing a flashing number in under his cufflink. Nodding, he pulled the curtian closed and locked the door as he left.

Feeling sure that he was alone, he pulled the mask down and inspected the pasta and bread. Everything appeared to be in order. Taking a small bite of the pasta, Demetrious closed his eyes and attempted to taste and savor the flavor. However, he was instantly wisked into a vision. He was hovering in the sky, a few miles from a city carved entirely of white stone. Above the city was a dark storm cloud, pulsing with lightning and thunder, threatening the safety of the buildings below. Even though he could only see in this vision, his mind inserted the sounds of the thunder 'n' lightning and the taste of the rain on his tongue. The teen recognized the glossy white stones as the same ones as in his rendition of the city. He had that vision when the plans for Wyonix were released to the public. Now, a few years into the future, he could recall that this was simply a continuation of the orignal dillusion.

((shucks these are long posts, I'm worried! xD))

As Drake turned away from him and slipped behind the cutain, Tyler tried to jam his waterlogged brain into action. How the hell had he ended up like this? Ah, yea. Stupidity. Lack of foresight had landed him in a high quality private coach with all the latest tech...thingys. And some crazy guy who talked like a rich son-of-a and moved like a fighter. Well, at least the food was free. Drake had mentioned silenced criminals...yup, dangerous. He must have just got out of the slammer, and was being escorted by the custody officer to his new home in Wyonix. Joy. Looking past his sarcastic inner dialogue, he understood that that made Drake more of a kindred spirit than anything else. Ha.

"What have I unleashed, eh? Ah well at least hes not some stuck up advanced sh-"

Tyler stopped himself from cussing in the high class train. It just felt..wrong. He smiled at his own inexperience in any kind of upper class setting. Anyway, Drake was still right there...probably. Tyler reflected that he wasn't totally sure whether Drake wasn't an advanced after all... he hoped not. He had started to like him. And bad things would happen if Tyler found an advanced. Unconciously stroking his taser hilts, he realized that Drake had been gone for over a minute when he suddenly flashed back through the curtain, hair tousled and trailing a pretty waitress of some sort. Noticing where the waitress' eyes were focused, Tyler smirked and threw Drake a silent "Go Team!" accompanied by a double thumbs up. And liberal amounts of winks.

((Lawls, don't be worried. No one is judging. I just got really bored... And to Magiking, no worries. I'm getting pretty busy now as well.))

DRAKE BLANCHED. Was that a wink he saw? No, scratch that. Copious amounts of winks were flying his way and he could do nothing to stop them. With the waitress still in the room, he couldn't even run into the bathroom for temporary sanctuary. Even if she was under his spell (quite literally, mind you), the thought of looking like a wuss in front of a lady was out of the question. Even if his one greatest pet peeve was winking. Even if he'd rather claw his eyes out than to bear another second of Creed's ridiculous eye twitch.

"You know what, suddenly I'm very anxious to get to Wyonix. I'm absolutely itching for fresh air and more room to move around." Not to mention getting away from this horrible image... Drake shuddered. Plastering on a weak smile, he said, "Let's just eat and be done with this."

It was all Tyler could do no to slip out of his chair to join the officer on the floor. He could hardly breathe for laughing at Drake's discomfort. NEVER had he seen someone so freaked out. What a guy...must never have had a male friend before...if not for the waitress, Tyler would have betted than Drake hadn't had a female 'friend' either- and he was OLDER than him. Tyler clawed back upright, avoiding Drakes gaze in case he would have another fit.

"Thanks for the grub!...uh..whatever it is?"

Feeling you couldn't be too careful with a possibly dangerous former(or maybe not) criminal, Tyler shut up and ate his food, the clean lights of Wyonix almost upon them.

After a few awkward minutes of tableware clinking and Tyler trying not to burst out in chuckles again, the sleek train finally slowed to a halt in a bustling station. It was aboveground, unlike most stations he was used to. There was a clear covering overtop to block any weather incoming. The rain had stopped, but it was still dripping off the sides and draining down well placed rivulets on the edge of the streets outside. Tyler stared out at the crowd anxiously. It was large, and milling excitedly around the station, most trying to take certain routes and flooding out under the large, garage-like opening. He wasn't sure he was comfortable with going straight out into the light. You couldn't be sure who would be lurking outside train stations. He would know, he had done it himself on occasion. However...glancing at Drake, he figured the opportunity was almost too good to miss.

Ysa straightened and stood on her own two, very capable and agile feet as the train came from the outside. It was wet, so it must had been raining- currently or earlier but she could have told that from standing there for so long. Either way, it didn't really matter to Ysa. She could do her job in any weather. She couldn't help the small but slightly dangerous smirk that crossed her fuller lips."Show time..."she whispered to herself. She pulled the sun glasses further down her nose and looked to the doors with her ice cold eyes so she could scan the crowd. Search the most probable client and tail them. She had others waiting outside to tail the rest, but she had to find the best. It was her job to set the perfect example.

As people began to clamber off the train, she searched the crowd and placed her gloved hands into the pockets of her old fashioned silver coat. With the hat and all, she looked sort of like a forties earthling detective whose main color was silver rather than khaki. And in a way, she was acting as one.. She stood mostly still and very inconspicuously as she watched the passengers flood out of the packed train.

EXCITEMENT BUBBLED beneath Drake's skin, threatening to overflow, flooding his senses with a sweetness so tangible he could reach out and grab it. The station was his gateway into a new world and the moment he stepped past that bridge he would find himself immersed in a fresh life, destiny calling his name. Drake... it said, building into a crescendo to join his beating heart in a symphony of passion. Drake... Drake... Drake! Oh how he loved the sound of that.

Looking at Creed, he could tell the boy was nervous. For what, he couldn't understand. He had jumped on a train to Wyonix, even contemplated riding out the long journey on the roof top of the speeding maglev, so why did he seem so hesitant to embrace his new home?

"Don't let me stop you," Drake said, making a shooing motion with his hands. "Besides, I still have Mr Officer to deal with." As if to accentuate his point, he nudged the still unconscious officer with his foot, making no further indication of helping the poor man at all. He couldn't care less if the man died from choking on his own spit, but that would put another nasty mark on his record. No doubt the higher ups would pin him for this incident as well.

Right now though, Drake just wanted Creed to get out of his space. That winking image was still burning into his memory.

Tyler looked at Drake in confusion, and a little hurt. That whole affair must have bothered him more than I had realized. What an oversensitive...He shrugged. He didn't need a companion, even one so interesting as this. He couldn't help feeling some regret that he had to leave then, but maybe it was safer anyway. The last thing Tyler needed was to get into trouble so quickly, and an aura he was wary of surrounded Drake.

"Well then. I guess this's goodbye. I wish ya the best of it."

Without waiting for a response he leaped out the door to the station and immediatly began blending into the mob, mimicking the majorities posture and walking style. He snagged a wallet from the man in front of him, and emerged into the street without checking its contents. Taking one last look back, he was reassured. The crowd was definitly packed with shady characters, the least of which wasn't himself. One in particular caught his eye before being blocked again by the milling masses. A woman clad all in silver, inconspicuously loitering near the exit. Tyler turned away quickly and continued on his way, look for a suitable backwater street to call all his own, watching for officials as he went. He wasn't the type to go for power, but hey, in a new city, anything goes. Looking around once more, he strode off purposefully with a crooked grin smeared across his features.

Wyonix. Supposedly it was the start of a new life. Someone could walk into its gates and feel like a new being, with fortune smiling upon them, whispering promises of prosperous and joyful future. Carmen was a little more skepitcal than that. Could this place really be so great? Sure it had been her savior, she wouldn't have spent one more minute in that lab, but would it really be so much better than where she was before? The transport rushed through the air as swiftly as a night predator through the trees. Icy blue eyes watched as rain pelted the open windows of her car. It wouldn't be long now, but she was still growing restless. Carmen itched to be on solid ground again, to find her hiding place and stay there. That was all Wyonix was to her. A new place to hide from what had happened, from what she was. Carmen pulled the blue scarf around her neck even tighter before shoving her hands back in the pockets of her trench coat. Not exactly the most subtle of outfits, but it was cold and it was the only jacket she'd had. Nobody spoke to her and she spoke with none of them. They didn't deserve her time. Carmen wouldn't have responded even if one of the crowd had addressed her. Before long the train pulled itself to a stop. Carmen hadn't moved an inch from her spot at the window, but now that it was time she got to her feet in one languid motion, tossing her long, blond hair over her shoulder to trail behind her like a cloak. Blending in with the crowd perfectly she slipped out the front of the transport, glad to hear the sound of her heels clicking on an actual platform and not the carpeted aisles of the train. The fresh air wasn't bad either. So this was it. Carmen scanned the area around her, trying not to stand still for too long, lest she be swept away by the pushing crowds. Well, all there was left to do was step through the exit and into a new life. So far it hadn't seemed like much. The smell of the sweating crowd, of the train station, the rabble of the people having their conversations, it all seemed the same as what she'd just left. A small frown wriggled its way onto her lips, maybe this wouldn't be all it was cracked up to be. But it had to, she needed it to. Blue scarf streaming behind her Carmen slowly moved through the crowd, determined not to speak with anyone, or linger too long.

RELIEF WASHED over Drake. Now that Creed was gone he could breathe again. It wasn't as if he hated the boy, quite the contrary actually. He just had an unhealthy loathing towards winking. Frowning, he hoped that he didn't give a bad first impression. Tera knows how important those were in their scientific society, what with all the instant classifications people do at the drop of a dime. Glancing down at the officer, he heaved a melodramatic sigh.

"What ever am I going to do with you? First you have the gall to get yourself knocked unconscious, leaving me to save your pitiful life. Now you make me figure out how to move you so people don't think I did this." Drake pouted, pacing around the body making wild gestures with his hands, none of which were very comforting. "Gah! I didn't even think it was possible for you to be even more useless. Do us all a favour and just wake up!"

In any other circumstance he wouldn't have been surprised, but he was admittedly not expecting the officer's immediate revival. Gosh, his powers were definitely stronger than when he last used them ten months ago. Looks like the meditating he did actually paid off. Clearing his throat, Drake put to work the story he created during dinner to cover their sorry behinds.

"Are you alright? No time for explanations, the maglev is emptying. If we don't get out now, we'll be stuck on the return trip. Now -don't give me that look -I suppose you won't move until you've got a significant amount of information to please your curiousity so I'll just condense it into a five second form." Drake took a deep breath and continued, "There was a stowaway on this train who broke into this car and being the insane man he was, he tried to take my life seeing as I'm obviously the one who commands this room. You, being the heroic bodyguard, jumped in the way and wrestled with the man but unfortunately you didn't see him pull out a rather nasty taser. In that moment he was distracted with you, I took the liberty to push him back out the train and into the beautiful Ginia chasm. Now let's go."

Drake didn't wait for a response before pulling the officer to his feet and practically dragging the man out of the car. Stepping onto the platform he laughed brightly, twirling on his toes with his arms spread wide.

"Isn't this wonderful? It's the beginning of a rebirth!" He danced his way through the crowd, skipping between rows of solemn looking folk. Blue hair bouncing as he went, he prayed the officer was coherent enough to follow the beacon.

A beginning of a new era. And my empire.

"Okay Reina. Just relax and we'll get this done with soon." said the tall young man as he tightened the elastic band around the young woman's arm and gently flicking the bend of her arm attempting to raise the vein. The aforementioned Reina leaned her head on her arm her legs swinging freely in the freedom of her hospital gown. The only garb she had ever truly worn, as often as she had asked to try on the outfits of those who worked with her. She couldn't relax... this was the first time she had ever left the lab! Unfortunately for those around her she just couldn't keep her excitement or curiosity to herself and had bombarded them all with questions "What's it look like?!" "Who are the people there?!" "What kind of food will there be?!" "What's the sky going look like?!" and the one that pestered everyone the most "Are we there yet?!"

She winced with a whimper as the bend of her arm was pierced with a needle that led to a device that ran her blood into various vials. The scientist smiled "That wouldn't have hurt if you had just sit still." she pouted sadly "But how can I relax? I mean... I'm going to finally going to see the outside world! I can hardly wait!" she said. Her rolled his eyes finally pulling the needle out and treating the puncture wound. "Okay okay, I get it. Your excited." she smiled happily. This all went down within the train that everyone was riding but in one very large cart that no one had access to in the very back of the train. The windows and doors were locked from the outside accept for certified personnel and guards protected the entrance.

When the train neared Wyonix preparations were made to move the experiment to the new facility in Wyonix. Reina stood beside her guard rocking on her feet and humming happily. When the one heading her transportation approached she ran straight up to her "Are we leaving now? I'm anxious to go." the scientist placed a firm hand on her head keeping her in place. "We're here and we're ready to go." Reina had to keep from cheering. But her previous excitement faded as the door opened to reveal a wheeled vehicle. "Huh?" she questioned looking up confused "I don't know why anyone told you... but your going straight to the facility. We can't have anyone know of you. You'll be riding in this." she pouted without a word and followed to the vehicle.

"I'm not sitting back there with her. She'll be fine. She's never tried to get away." her guard said slipping into the drivers seat "I'll drive and you sit back there." The head rolled her eyes "Fine she'll be back there alone. You big baby..." an apparent mistake... as the train was docked the vehicle exited through the back of the train moving slowly to avoid any suspicion.

Reina sat still pouting quietly. It wasn't fair... they got her hopes up a crushed them like that. That was just mean. As the vehicle moved the doors rattled a bit. The vehicle was old. Budget cuts of course was what caused this. Reina looked up at the doors her pout fading into a smile "I can get there by myself." she said with a smile "Yeah... I'll go to the new lab myself." she said with a nod and turned to the door. After a moments hesitation she grabbed the handle wrenching it down the door swinging open the bright light blinding her. Inspite of that she jumped from the back landing on her feet for a second before stumbling over. She stared at the ground for a moment her chalk white pale skin nearly glowing in the normal light. No one yelled or screamed for her. She didn't hear the vehicle stop or turn around. Just it driving away and all the foreign new sounds that reached her ears. She smiled and got to her feet with a satisfied smile.

Here she was... on her own for the first time in all her life. In a whole new city... a whole new world. She smiled happily "And it's all mine to see."

Troa sighed as he was shoved around a little by the people getting off the train, his arms getting tired from the package in his hands. "Jeeze, man... hey watch it! Yeah buddy you're excused... I guess..." He muttered, mostly to himself. Being turned around here and there, he was blinded by a second by glares from people's glasses. "Geeze, shiny glasses are fine and all... but damn." He sighed, a bit annoyed that he couldn't even rub his eyes. "Finally!" He yelled in relief, as he saw an opening to get in the train. "Excuse me!" He said with a smirk, jumping onto and off a rail. Landing inside the door, he quickly found a seat and plopped down. "About damn time!" He sighed, then looked around and sighed again. "Jeeze... good thing a kid didn't get on yet. I don't feel like bein scolded by a mom... again..." He muttered to himself, slouching in his seat a bit.

GETTING THROUGH immigration was a breeze. Drake silently thanked his family's fortune for allowing him to bypass the endless line of people waiting for the final admittance process to be completed. In all actuality, he didn't mind his parents. Sure his childhood was a little rough and lacking in tender, loving care but his parents really tried their best to give him everything he needed to grow up into a fine, law abiding citizen. They were only trying to look out for him. He supposed leaving them without a goodbye was a little harsh although what he had done to regain what was stolen from them should have been enough of a repayment.

Drake brushed away a stray strand of hair, shielding his eyes against the bright glow of Terrato's sunsets. It would be dark soon and he hoped he could get to his new house before then. While he was normally a night owl, he didn't want to be out and about in a new city without cover of daylight. It was too dangerous. Besides, since he was on parole he wasn't even allowed to carry a gun for self defense. And if he used his powers to attack a person, whether in malice or to protect himself, it would put a bad mark on his record. The only reason he used them back on the maglev was because he was certain no one would witness it. Here he could not begin to imagine how many eyes and ears were about.

The care free smile slipped off his face. For all his grandeur, Drake was still only a child. Sure Temens had accelerated maturation compared to humans but he had been locked away for ten months. Ten months! In that amount of time, without the push and pull of society, his mind had effectively slowed to the point where he finally realized what life as a human might be like. For this very reason alone was why imprisonment was considered the worst possible punishment. Even in death there was a chance to learn something new.

He was crippled now. Thinking like a human, he watched as life passed him by again and again, never waiting for him to catch up. And why would they? No one would give a damn if he got lost in the speeding society. No one would pick him up if he stumbled. Leaving his parents had ensured that and much more. He really had no one left.

A bitter laugh escaped his throat. Everything about him was truly ironic. As a little child his only wish was to have friends he could play with, laugh together with, enjoy life with. By the time he was an adolescent he had given up on his childhood want, knowing that as long as he had his powers there was no way he could exist peacefully with others. Struck by the illness that he later found out was due to his abilities, his parents forbade him from leaving the house. Isolated, feared, and alone, Drake didn't think his situation could possibly get any worse. Oh how wrong he was.

Things in life require sacrifice. That is what Drake had learned and learn he did in the most painful way. The luxuries he had of a stable existence were all taken away from him in the blink of an eye when a rivalling corporation had managed to blackmail his family into bankruptcy. While his parents wept over the loss, pinned between a rock and a hard place, Drake took it upon himself to fix the problem with his own hands, using whatever means were necessary. So he broke the law and stole some of the most valued things in their society. Information. And then he deserted the Government, leaving in the middle of a mission without saying a word. Charged with the highest theft and treason, Drake could only bear the burden with strong shoulders and a head held high.

He hadn't noticed where his feet had taken him. He supposed it was both a good and a bad thing that he couldn't sense the officer's presence near him at all. Taking his eyes off the payment, he was just in time to see a little girl jump out the back of a van. She looked around a bit and seemingly satisfied with what she saw, she got up and smiled. Drake cocked his head, pretty certain what he just saw was something that didn't happen often.

"Who might you be, little one?" He hadn't meant to say that out loud but was nonetheless very intrigued. Just what he needed to get his mind off of how horrid his existence was -a little girl with the light air of innocence.

After confirming that she was now free to explore this world herself she glanced around her wide-eyed. Everything was so huge. The sky stretched high above her head higher than the ceilings of the labs and it was so spacious with no walls enclosing her. With a tiny smile she spun around looking everywhere. There were people all around dressed in all manner. She noticed several giving her odd looks. Probably due to the relatively inappropriate outfit. Who would wear a hospital gown in public? But not knowing that though she continued with her excited observations.

She looked on at all the people for a minute before she stopped her eyes wide a look of surprise on her face. All the people... looked nothing like the scientists she had been around all her life. No sign of lab coat or sterile medical uniform seemed to be anywhere. She tilted her head slightly. The light was darker too. She stared on at everyone till she heard a voice behind her. "Who might you be, Little one?" she turned around quickly her hospital gown flapping about slightly. She looked up at Drake who stood a good couple inches over her. She gave him a small shy smile "My name is Reina Landford." She saw his blue hair and gave a small giggle "What is your name sir?" she said smiling with a curious gleam in her eye.

((where are you guys? =/))

Tyler's sweat covered body gleamed in the low light that remained, surrounded by a solid ring of people. In the dark alley behind a poorer neighborhood, the jeers and catcalls from the audience echoed loudly in every direction. His grin had become plastered to his face after three straight fights with those who thought he was both scrawny and weak. Scrawny, he wouldn't deny. Weak, not so much.

Suddenly his newest opponent, a hulking man with scars all over his face from long experience, lunged drunkenly at Tyler's left side. Tyler recognized the feint for what it was, dodged the sharp kick coming ffrom below and managed to land his fist in the other's side. The huge man stumbled sideways before straightening. Tyler quickly tried to trip him up before his balance came back, but he got out of the way and swung straight for Tylers face. Too late to dodge fully, Tyler rolled with it, slamming into the nearest part of the human wall, which shoved him back towards his enemy. Feigning inability to fight which was only half-faked, Tyler fell to his knees on the ground. The man aimed to curbstomp him. Too late, he saw through the ruse as Tyler reached up and brought him down by the neck. Messily finishing with the man, he straightened up. Tyler knew he couldnt take another fight as he was, but none stepped forward. The crowd slowly dispersed into the shadows around him, fading as if they were never there. Tyler groaned in relief and pain. Mostly pain.

As he stepped over the four bodies to find his shirt, he kept a watchful eye out. Some more naive than he may have thought that this was over, but it was just the start. Although he had proven to be a proficient fighter, that did not make him king. There would most likely be numerous attacks later that night to eliminate him before he could recover. Tyler hoped he didn't have a minor concussion of some sort from where the man had smacked him. A cracked rib which he could feel in his chest was not half as dangerous to his health as a muddled mind. Walking down the alley and turning along down the street, he kept a firm grip on his tasers as he searched for a reasonable place to hole up. He knocked politely on the door of a nondescript house. When no one answered, he picked the lock and walked inside. He closed the door and waited quietly by it for some time.

After ten minutes, he heard the lock jingling again and the door creaked open. A dark-clad man crept into the house as quietly as he could, obviously not there to deliver congratulations. Tyler stepped out of the shadows.

"Surprise, motherf***er"

He jammed his right tasered into the mans chest and blasted him into unconciousness. Tyler left the taser going a bit longer, for added effect, then dragged the man's wildly flailing body into the street and kicked him away from the commandeered house. Giving the finger to all the unseen eyes watching him, Tyler closed the door again and this time, walked straight to the nearest corner. At this point, it was a gamble whether they were smart enough to stay away or daring enough to try again. He hoped the former, because he was too tired to stay awake, even if it got him killed. His body needed rest to recover and he was mentally stressed too. As he fell asleep, he smiled again. He hoped he would find some more interesting people like Drake. Tyler decieded that if he woke up tommorow, he would go and search for some.

"A good start...Zzzz..."
