Saren sighed and went to a little corner and started messing with a few rocks. She sighed and stared at the ground doing nothing.

Pein appeared out of nowhere. He looked at Saren, who was being her usual, wierd self. Then he looked over at Ryota and Rei.
"Well?" he asked.

Rei's eyes snapped open at the sound of a voice. She turned her head, seeing Pein. She sighed and turned to look at the ceiling once again, she wouldn't be able to get to sleep, not for a while at least.

Saren used the rocks to make two stick figures. One looked like agirla nd the other looked like a man. Parents..... what are they? Why can't I remember anything? Saren thought taking the rocks and tossing them at the wall angrily. She sighed and then looked down at the ground.

Rei turned her head to watch Saren as she heard the stone's hit the wall. She was beginning to wonder if she was still trustworthy. SHe pushed the thought away for the moment and looked at Pein. "We ran into leaf village shinobi and had some trouble." She said simply like it was nothing new.

Rei glared at Pein before answering, "Technically, yes." She was restless, she hated just laying there and doing nothing. "Screw it." She muttered as she slowly started to sit up.

Ryota pushed her back down.
"Stay down! You won't be of any use if you can't heal."

Saren was up the second she heard Rei try to get up. Her head snapped in that direction. "You mustn't sit up. Your wounds are bad enough that you don't need to go and try to do things that your body's not ready to do! Rest!" Saren said strongly. She looked at Rei with intent eyes, hoping she would stay down.

Rei looked away from both of them, letting out a grunt of frustration. She stared at the ceiling, feeling helpless and weak. At least she had company...but for how long?

"Wound?" Pein asked, incredulously. He walked over to Rei and saw the wound in her chest.
"Are you telling me," he started. "that a mere Leaf Shinobi managed to land a blow like that on you?"

"Pein! Calm down! I don't want you getting her all upset and making it so she can't heal easily." Saren snapped at Pein, not fearing the Akatsuki leader.

Rei grit her teeth together. "I under estimated them." She hissed, balling her fists and digging her nails into her palms. If he kept going she would do something, not just stay there taking insults along with injury. She would fight, Pein wasn't so tough, not in Rei's mind anyway.

Saren glared at Pein and walked over to Rei. She put her hand on Rei's head and softly said, "Calm down Rei........ If you keep straining yourself you'll never be able to get those leaf villagers back. You need to sleep and rest."

Rei turned her angered face toward Saren, though whipped off her emotion, letting it be replaced by general gratitude. She sighed and nodded slightly. Saren was one of the only akatsuki members she actually liked, along with Ryota.
