I'm really don't have much of an input as to what the guild should be now, but I do have a thought on the protest option.
If it gets turned into a protesting guild, will there only only be certain things we can protest about? How would the decision to protest against something be made? What if some people were against protesting on a certain subject?

I think we should make it into a protest guild. To have Peaceful protests against anything we believe should be changed on Gaia. But, remember. Gaia is not perfect, we are not perfect. That's why it's called peaceful protest.
If someone messes up, don't stone them.
that's my 2 cents on this.
