That's sex, not gender. no no its a sub sect of transhumanism it wishes to remove gender and simply clone. Cloning doesn't remove gender, though. If you make humans physically asexual, and simply clone, that removes sex. Gender is different than sex. Take me, for example. I'd mark down my sex as male, but not my gender. My gender has nothing to do with my ability or desire (or in my case, lack of desire) to reproduce. That's still sex. razz

He is right about strands of transhumanism wanting to erase gender though.
George Dvorsky, for example, has written some stuff on postgenderism. (Part of it involves eliminating sex too, or making it irrelevant... it's not like they're unconnected. I mean, what makes people assign you your gender at birth?)
