Lol that's okay I got yer back.
Personally i want a condom pose of the avi's blowing it up like a balloon as opposed to other conventional ways of applying it. A pose with the Condom erect and in the general vicinity of the lower torso. A condom on a banana pose, and lastly a banana with condom on in mouth pose. Why beat around the bush. wow i couldn't believe this at first so i checked the shoppes and sure enough theres not a cig in sight.
i don't smoke irl and i never will because i think its dumb but i would also never drink a potion that turned me into a zombie. this is stupid. i hope they reconsider and bring back the smokes.

I personally feel that gaia has to split its users between adults with porn to satisfy their need to strip and show off nudity to all. Disneyland is located in Anaheim, CA. Gaia HQ is located in San Jose, CA. They're seven hours traveling time apart. Gaia HQ is closer to San Francisco than anywhere else.

Lets see, we got on Gaia (in my personal ranking of severity+danger/undesirability):
- Weapons and general proliferation of violence
- Exposure of users to identity theft, nuisance marketing and possible credit fraud ** (see note)
- really underage sex (cleverly, stupidly or totally non-disguised as visual and descriptive puns)
- uncontrolled (probably underage) "cybersex" XP
- Sexually suggestive sponsor ads ** (see note)
- questionable advertising (think Skittles, Venus and Tampax)
- poor grammar (well, English is the only language I've seen on Gaia that I understand, but I swear that's not going to stay the case for much longer)
- rampant trolling and woefully inadequate moderation (than again, this happens pretty much everywhere)
- uninspired game design and poor maintenance (but heck, Gaia's not supposed to be a game site anyway - if I wanted a game site to flip me off, I'll still be on Neopets now)
** NOTE: after my first post in this thread, I actually went to look at the GC offers to see if I could get any yummy evidence. Guess what? I can't see any offers! Can someone please confirm if its just me, or have they like pulled all the offers out?
In other words - what could possibly go wrong? Sure, cars kill, overeating kills, identity theft and credit fraud kill, guns kill, alcohol and drugs kill, hate kills, poor grammar will make ME kill you, child sex kills but no...lets censor the damn smokes!

EDIT: Kadina can probably confirm this...I got an exam tomorrow so I'm not going to read the new members thread now...but this may actually be good for us! We get new blood in here - its just like when the menu bar got changed, only bigger, broader and more bitter! (hmm....while writing this I suddenly thought of those "enhancement drug" junk mails....go figure XD) And visible results overnight!! Guaranteed!!! (hey, I already mentioned it...might as well go all the way here)

considering some of the past items i never thought gaia was one to tow the party line as it were. yet here we are.
Ive been on gaia since 2k3. Ive seen it go from a hole in the wall site to being a massive community. there have been many changes I'm not fond of. when the ads came out they were for users to advertise on site only. then one day with no notice every one and their brother could put their ads up with NO monitoring. Ive had viruses that my internet security has had to fight off to attest to the lack of monitor on these ads. then there was the "if you donate the ads go away" ill admit a lack of recent donation on my part here lately; but is this still the case? the first sponsor was the hills. it pissed me off to put it plainly. then there was the shift to users having to pay to get the "good" items. i have been one of those that's been affected by the economy and i don't have the money to buy these " great" items. so if i want them i have to sell my inventory or i have to spend every waking hour on gaia to work up the gold. i really feel that gaia no longer cares about its users. the free event items suck. almost all shop updates are cash. we almost never get new hair, eyes, clothes unless they are in an EI. beyond that have you seen the three thong " body suits". one on the heart breaker collectible, one on the bunny chocolate item and one in the alruna's rose. that's cool but a pixel cig is offensive. lets tell twelve year olds that this kind of outfit is normal. i have them all but i think that they are too vulgar to wear alone.

You know, now that I think about it, why don't they get rid of the booze in the shops? There are a few alcohol related items.
So Gaia has this booze... and they took away the tobacco.
There are also PILLS in the shops... and they took away the tobacco.
