"Not so bad Hibiki, but what if this followed..." Kenji began writing a response to Hibiki's on the board...
"The thief stared at you for a few seconds as if he was deciding what to do. Without warning, his hand suddenly shot forward, throwing a cloud of dust particles into your face and eyes, before ducking down to throw a sweep kick at your legs."
"How would you respond to that?"

Haruko looked at Hibiki's response and was about to respond to it when she saw Kenji walk up to the board and added something else to the response. 'A twist in the plot huh? Good call Kenji-san.' Haruko turned her attention to Hibiki to see how he would do.

Hibiki allowed himself to lose balance, catching himself just in time before throwing his kunai at his assailant's face. Not waiting to see if it hit, the blinded Hibiki focused his ears on the rustling of his opponents clothes. Using the elongated sleeves of his kimono, Hibiki hid a series of hand seals. "Hana Bunshin no Jutsu!" he cried out, Cherry blossoms came pouring out of his kimono, coalescing until they took Hibiki's form. Unblinded, the clone made a dash for the thief.

Kenji read over the response, but as he re-read it again, his brow furrowed in a bit of a confused manner, "So, did you forget about the sweep kick the thief made? ...or was that what the reference of 'allowed himself to lose balance' was all about? ...I have to admit, I was a little confused by that, could you explain your wording please?"

Hibiki blushed a bit, as he read over his wording. "Aah, sorry sensei. I meant to say that I lost my balance after the thief sweep kicked me." Hibiki scratched his head in slight irritation. 'Oh, man. A mistake. Pull yourself together Hibiki,' he mentally berated himself.

Kenji saw Hibiki's slight embarassment, but was quick to smile and reassure him, "Alright, that is what I had figured, but I just wanted to make sure. Don't beat yourself up over it though, you're doing very well for a student. Just try to make a note of such things for the future."
Kenji turned to Haruko slightly as he decided that he had gotten what he wanted from the second response, "Alright, sorry to interrupt Haruko, please continue. I would say that he has passed this particular writing test."

Haruko watched as Hibiki scratched his head in irrittion. 'Hm, seems he's really bothered by that mistake.' Haruko gave Hibiki a reasurring smile before speaking, "Hey Hibiki-kun, relax. You're doing fine and one small mistake isn't going to cost you this lesson, just calm down and think this through. Remember to look over you response before having us check it and I'm sure you'll be fine."
Haruko shook her head at Kenji's appology. "Don't worry about Kenji-san, you didn't really interupt much. Anyways Hibiki-kun, we'll be needing a copy of your profile please." She extended her right hand to recieve the papers.
{Oh, and I just remembered, Hibiki, when posting your response to the lesson, all you did was post the reply without any introduction or ending. If my wording sounds weird, this example will explain it better.
Hibiki walked up to the chalkboard and picked up a piece of chalk. After pondering his response for a bit, Hibiki began writing out his response.

Stepping back, Hibiki turns to face his instructors to see what they thought about his reply.
Pretty much you shouldn't just reply you needed to add some stuff before and after it.}

Hibiki's annoyance wavered a bit at his teachers' reassuring voices. He sighed before deciding to let that mistake be a lesson rather than a hindrance. "Right!" he exclaimed. "Thank you very much, Sensei. I'll try not to disappoint."
Hibiki reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a folded piece of paper. He looked over it once before nodding and handing it over to Haruko. "Here you go, Sensei," Hibiki said. "I hope everything's in order."

Kenji joined Haruko, looking over her shoulder to read the profile as she was doing. He probably could have waited till she was finished, but Kenji was intrigued to find out more about Hibiki. reading over the profile, Kenji was impressed, but noticed something rather interesting about it as the profile had a familiar style and structure.
"Well Hibiki, I must say, this is a wonderfully written profile. It tells us a lot about who you are and details your abilities nicely. overall, it is a wonderfully made profile compared to many others, and if I'm not mistaken, the style and format bears a resemblance to something I have seen before...wouldn't you say Haruko?"

Haruko smiled when she saw Hibiki's spirit go back up. 'Good, seems like his confidence is back.' Taking his paper, Haruko nodded and began reading over his profile. While reading, Haruko felt Kenji walk up behind her and look over her shoulder and a small blush made its way to her face. Forcing herself to focus on Hibiki's profile, she was intrigued by what was written. 'Harsh lifestyle, must be hard to deal with all of that attention.' Haruko nodded in reply to Kenji's question before turning her head to face Kenji, "So, what do you think Kenji-san? Is it a pass?"

"Oh I would say that it is definitely a pass. This is one of the best profiles we have seen so far, especially as it was a first draft. From the looks of things, we will have much in common, but well...nevermind" Kenji was going to say something else, but he bit his tongue and withdrew, backing away from Haruko and moving to the teacher's chair to take a seat.
"The profile passes my approval, it seems to me like he's ready for the next test." Kenji was slightly unsettled to see that Hibiki was a fire user, even though he was also a water and nature user. He had always had a distrust of fire users, but it was even stranger still to see one who also manipulated nature. It irked Kenji slightly, and he was doing all he could to try to ignore it and not have a prejudiced feeling towards Hibiki.

After coming around and calming himself down, Kenji realized his duty to the village must come first, and he stood up to deliver the rest of the lesson despite his preconceptions.
"Alright Hibiki, why don't you tell me a little bit about how you fight, what are your tactics?...are you someone who fights on instinct, or are you one who critically analyzes the enemey and plays to their weaknesses?"

Hibiki scratched his head and thought about his teacher's question. "Hmm, I'm definitely a person who observes the enemy before attacking. I don't like to head straight into a battle before having a clear understanding of the enemies movements. That usually leads to mistakes." Hibiki eyes became dull as he added, "I absolutely do not like mistakes."

((Before posting a reply, I usually spell check it. Then, I preview it to check for grammatical errors or anything I may have left out. While I'm writing the reply I always have an eye on the previous post, to make sure I'm not leaving anything out and to ensure that I understand what's happening.)
