The Mitsusake server has been down for a day and a half, I think. Virtually no one has been able to change his or her avatar. I'm hoping it'll be up again soon, but I was thinking that yesterday. xd

Mitsukake**^ and it's working fine for me.The server isn't down, you have to catch it at the right time, so many people are trying on new items it lags up the server and takes forever.You can etiehr wait, or try again later, which is waiting again xD
